Tumppi Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 will probably get 10+ losses. If this happens, what would his rank be next basho? What if he remains under 10 losses?
Naifuzan Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 This is good news for me in UDH (Enjoying a beer...) Well, not really news, but anyway...
Zenjimoto Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 (edited) Not so fast! He STILL has a chance at KK! :) I would guess 6-9, though... he still has to face Asashoryu, Taikai, and Wakanosato... Cheers Z. Edited September 16, 2003 by Zenjimoto
Manekineko Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Ooo, that is a *spooky* avatar, Zenji-zeki! (Whistling...) But then, who am I to complain... (Enjoying a beer...)
Kotoseiya Yuichi Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 (edited) I could use my own face as an avatar but that would create a mass exodus so probably I won't. No one in the Internet sumo community has ever seen me. Kaikitsune erroneously thinks he has, though. I don't want to reveal I'm actually a 93-year old granny. Eh... How's that for digressing...?!? (Enjoying a beer...) Let's keep this thread for Dejima, shall we? EDIT: Dejima? Miyabiyama! Edited September 16, 2003 by Kotoseiya Yuichi
Naifuzan Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Miyabiyama, 93-year old granny... is the difference really that big? (Enjoying a beer...) Just kidding tho, I hope noone took offence

Full version at http://www.worth1000.com/view.asp?entry=64...splay=photoshop btw. :-) Oops, sorry.... Miyabiyama.... umm.... yeah. Cheers Z.

Asashosakari Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 (edited) Exil, Pro-Miyabiyama Movement Good idea...Miyabiyama can use all the help on his movements he could possibly get... (Shaking head...) *ducking* Edited September 16, 2003 by Asashosakari
Asashosakari Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 And about the original question... will probably get 10+ losses. If this happens, what would his rank be next basho? What if he remains under 10 losses? 7-8: 99.99% chance he'll fall to Komusubi 6-9: M01 or M02 5-10: Somewhere between M02 and M04 depending on banzuke situation worse than that: correspondingly lower

Exil Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 Good idea...Miyabiyama can use all the help on his movements he could possibly get... :-D *ducking* Well, I did walk straight into that one. :-D But with a little luck he could ruin Asashoryu's zensho. (Shaking head...) Better make that (Shaking head...)(Cloverleaf...):-D... 7-8: 99.99% chance he'll fall to Komusubi (Sign of approval)
Tokimori Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 I'll gladly join the Pro-Miyabiyama Movement with you, Exil! Count me in!

Yoavoshimaru Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 I like Miyabiyama-zeki, but I think 6-9 and M2W in Kyusho. So this pro-Miyabiyama movement, does it have a web page yet? (Shaking head...)
Jesinofuji Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Well there's a pro-Miyabiyama movement, how abotu an anti-Miyabiyama paper once-Oozeki movement? I do not like Miyabiyama so much. I find his Sumo sloppy and uninteresting. And whatever happened to Kintaro and his musings?
Naifuzan Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Well there's a pro-Miyabiyama movement, how abotu an anti-Miyabiyama paper once-Oozeki movement? I do not like Miyabiyama so much. I find his Sumo sloppy and uninteresting. I dont think any movement against any rikishi is required. I agree with you on miyabiyamas sumo tho. I never liked him much, but I still respect him since he is a top contestant in my favourite sport.
Manekineko Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 (edited) Although I'm not overly fond of Miya, ever since I found out I nearly share my birthday with him (he's exactly one week my junior) I couldn't really dislike that fetid, bloated, disgraceful hunk of bacon (yes, I miss Kintaro, too). (Enjoying a beer...) But I was always a fervent fan of Mini-Mi. :-( Edit: Edited a dishgraceful typo. I feel like Sean Connery. B-) Edited September 17, 2003 by Manekineko
Takanobaka Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Looks like the PMM took another hit today.....Pro-Hayateumi Movement anyone??? (Enjoying a beer...)
Exil Posted September 17, 2003 Posted September 17, 2003 Damn, he was one :-( short! No win, but a good bout nonetheless. (Sign of approval) So this pro-Miyabiyama movement, does it have a web page yet? :-P No, not yet. Until yesterday, I though I was the Pro-Miyabiyama Movement. (Laughing...) Im in Exil-I like Miya aswell. Welcome aboard! Well there's a pro-Miyabiyama movement, how abotu an anti-Miyabiyama paper once-Oozeki movement? I do not like Miyabiyama so much. I find his Sumo sloppy and uninteresting. Well aren't you being a negative Nancy. That ozeki thing happened three years ago. Give the guy a break. I agree with Naifuzan. No point in forming a hate-group just because you don't happen to like someone. Looks like the PMM took another hit today..... A loss to a yokozuna going for a zensho is not something one couldn't foresee... He had a chance. B-) Better luck tomorrow against Chiyotaikai. (Enjoying a beer...)

A loss to a yokozuna going for a zensho is not something one couldn't foresee... He had a chance. (Applauding...) Better luck tomorrow against Chiyotaikai. (Nodding yes...) You're right, I want to try to be positive. Forming an Anti-So&so movement would be just plain bad, and I certainly don't want to be a negative nancy. So I'm going to try to turn this negative into a positive. I'm making a PWFAMM Pro-Whoever's Fighting Against Miyabiyama Movement! (Enjoying a beer...) :-( B-) (Laughing...) :-P Go Chiyotaikai!!!!!
Jesinofuji Posted September 18, 2003 Posted September 18, 2003 Cheering for Hokutoriki instead of booing Miyabiyama... :-D (Blinking...) :-D (Clapping wildly...) (Clapping wildly...) Go Hokutoriki!!!!!
