Jonosuke Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 You really wonder about this whole situation. Asashoryo is watching TV all day so I am sure he at least knows what they are saying about him as almost every wide show TV program in Japan has their TV truck camped outside his apartment to report every coming and going to the place. Obviously there is no way he can go out to do anything even he wants to as a second he steps out, he will be surrounded by dozen of reporters right away. However it's been reported that many of Asashoryu's acquaintances have been seen going in and out, some bringing in food, drinks and other gifts/supplies. A former professional wrestler Shoichi Ichinomiya and Asashoryu's Tsukebito have frequently been seen carrying loads of food and beverage to the place. Incidentally Shoichi Ichinomiya is a son of former Takasago oyakata, Fujinishiki. His younger brother Akihiro who took over from their father Chanko Fujinishiki and closed it as soon as he passed away is Asashoryu's personal manager and he is reportedly staying with the yokozuna almost all day. With all these comings and goings, Asashoryu must be talking to someone at least to get a food or whatever as I cannot believe his personal manager alone is dictating everything. At least he is making it clear to him that he wants to go back to Mongolia. He probably doesn't trust any doctor right now with all this sensational reporting going on.
Kotonosato Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 You really wonder about this whole situation.Asashoryo is watching TV all day so I am sure he at least knows what they are saying about him... Not if he has truly dissociated... Anyway, at this point I don't think even returning to Mongolia will give him any relief. I can't imainge the Japanese media are just going to let him go back on his own. They're going to watch his every move for the next four months no matter where he is. If he even looks at another soccer game, he'll be front page news again.

Or they can get some news from 2nd-3rd sources. but not first hand information. Not only media, any japanese/foreigner can be identified by any person pass by. I don't see why being identified would make them "helpless"... (On the banzuke...) Maybe these threads should actually stick to the topic, I've read too much useless blathering in these two Asa in hot water topics.
Ikh Mongol Dagvadorj Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 What's your point ? I don't see why being identified would make them "helpless"... (On the banzuke...) Well, If you did not get the point, the point is that following statement is not gonna happen. They're going to watch his every move for the next four months no matter where he is. "Identified"/"helpless" there will not be any more paparazzi video clips. Maybe these threads should actually stick to the topic, . I've read too much useless blathering in these two Asa in hot water topics. xmm, it is subjective defending on your persona
Otokonoyama Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Word on the street is that the NSK is considering bringing in some more international known and respected M.D.s to handle the case that no-one else can...
Guest haroda Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 to me the so called doctors visiting and then discussing their diagnoses with the media sounds like they should be speking quack quack quack. Or maybe that's what they are. how would you like to be on a flight with him. whatever the diagnoses after everything that's been said I would hope he leases a corporate jet to get him out of Japan. I wonder still where is his wife to support him? If she was here she doesn't have to meet the media so don't use that argument please. it's kind of like she doesn't care.
Jakusotsu Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 I suggest to open yet another thread of blathering so we can all experience dissociative identity disorder firsthand. SML much?
Peterao Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Word on the street is that the NSK is considering bringing in some more international known and respected M.D.s to handle the case that no-one else can... I recommend this guy: http://www.cesarmillaninc.com/ He really knows how to get through to even the most stubborn of head cases...
