So...

Who is coming to the Europeens in Budapest in June?

I know Kenzo will be there, though I doubt we'll see him in a mawashi (In jonokuchi...)

And I'll be there feeding him swiss chocolate... (Clapping wildly...)

and trying my hand at refereeing (broke my knee ice skating and it's not 100% yet so can't fight...) (Shaking head...)

Hope to see you there

A few things. How much is chocolate in Switzerland these days?I can get 2.5kgs of lindt for $38 which is the same conversion rate of 38 swiss francs.Made some wicked rockyroad easter eggs with marshmallows, tiny teddies ,turkish delight, dismembered playful pengiuns and gummy worms.Katrina liked them.

Kenzo in a mawashi?Stop fantasizing. He tells me he likes a bit of chocolate.

I think your idea of a chocolate dohyo and sugar instead of salt at rhe worlds is brilliant as long as the ants don't get to it.

Isn't it too cold for ants over there?

I once had a philosophical discussion with a Swiss SNAG who thought that all living things had an equal right to be alive.I stumped him with a hypotestical question-It was a moral dilema that he could not answer.I asked him what he would do if some ants had set up a nest in his doorway and closing the door would kill them but if he didn't he and his family might freeze to death.Squish em I say

You won't be obstructing the specators view a little as referee will you?You are just a pup compared to Big Fred Craig (night of the giants)who is of Akebono proportions had to ref from outside the dohyo in NZ.Sorry couldn't spin and shrink the photo

Good luck with the tournament especially to Kenzo's team -no temper tantrums from your team please,They are such nice people but very serious on the dohyo

Thanks mate now if you can just photoshop out the man boobs, hairy bits, spotty pink skin and add some washboard abs like warriors in the movie 300 (Thish ish Shparta!)

I hate having my picture taken at the end of a tournament when I have a tsuparried red face.

I'm not sure on the amasumo rulings or ettiquette with wearing a black mawashi but black on pink looks better than dirty white on pink.It doesn't show the dirt as much but I need to get rid of the suspicious looking mud stain I picked up from the Todai dohyo with Petr.

Whilst I'm off topic again does anyone know more about the ranking system in Amasumo.I believe it was decentralised and each federation can grade themselves? One guy claims to be 4th dan but ignored my questioning on how he came to give himself that rank.

I've just come back from Switzerland with a bag full of chocolate but I'm sure I won't share it with someone who stucked something so hideous over my face.

So what has been played so far and what are the complete rankings????

I cannot seem to find out on this website as all is in a language beyond my grasps....

Please inform me on what my teammates did these days (the dutch) as my injuries didn't allow me to travel out there with them...

That is a scary looking dohyo. Looks like steel cable for the ring and a sheer drop off with an edge!

it will be what they did two years ago. basically they embed a large rope (like a shipping rope) in the clay to stand in place of tawara.

Dante my dear fellow,

Your Dutch mates won a silver medal in the mens team event 3- Germany lol (Whistling...) its always nice to win against the Germans( For refference see Fawlty Towers episode, the Germans) 3 -0 Italy ;-) even more lol, then won the semi final aginst Bulgaria (Yusho winner...) 2-1 , losing the final to an extremely strong Russian team. Francoise Harteveld won her first medal in a European Championships with a bronze in the womens open defeating big OLGA (ALSADI) 160 kg from the Ukraine.

One? Look closer...

Huh?

"looking closer" = "reading more than just 25% of the original post"

Glad to help translating. (Whistling...)
