Gonoyama was at Ishiura's intai-zumo today and officially announced his marriage. She works as a nurse and was in the judo club at Saitama Sakae. They were already close in school and it developed into a relationship about a year ago. No date for a wedding reception yet. o o

She was an Akiseyama fan and handed him a letter of encouragement at the Tokorozawa jungyo in August 2019 and that developed into a relation. When he dropped to makushita later he thought of intai, but she stirred him up with "I want to see you with oicho again" - and he made it back to makuuchi after the marriage for Haru 2021. Sonosuke was born as he dropped to makushita again, he wanted to do a sekitori dohyo-iri with him some day, but it took till yesterday at his intai-zumo to fulfil this dream.

Takanosho (29 till Kyushu) today at the rikishi-kai revealed that he has married. His wife (27) is (about) 3 years younger than him, from Misawa, Aomori. They were introduced by a friend while he was still in makushita (till Aki 2017) and already live together. He didn't say since when they are married - last basho kachi-koshi. The ceremony and reception is planned for next year o o

Oshoma (27) has married a cabin attendant in her thirties, from Aichi Pref.

After having a relation for a year and a half, they handed in the marriage registration in mid December.

They met two years ago at a dinner party, he proposed to her half a year ago at a restaurant near the heya and they already live together.

She can speak English and Chinese, but likely not Mongolian.

Shodai (33) after taking part in the charity sumo, today had his wedding reception, he is married since 2022, Jan. 2022 his first son was born. His wife (28) is from Hakodate, Hokkaido, she was nutritionist at a nursery school in Tokyo, when a friend introduced them. Due to Corona, he hadn't made it public.

The accessories for her, worth 3000 million yen - rental costs usually 5 million yen, but by supporter connections for free

Misaki is confirmed for the name of his wife, they have a relation since 2016. Kotozakura was also on both parties.

They will register on June 1st, Kagayaki's birthday. They met through a mutual acquaintance and have been dating for about two years. There is a story behind this, but I'm too preoccupied, so use GT which is actually getting much better. I will not ask the obvious snarky question.

Anyway, Orito is a very Ishikawa-rashii name, according to myoji-yurai.net - probably coming from the town of Orito right at the end of the Noto peninsula. A very suitable lady for Kagayaki indeed.

The story of the trigger for the marriage: the family of Kagayaki's sister after the Noto-hanto quake had to evacuate and Tomoe proposed to have them come to her parents home, they and for a while also his father lived there. Kagayaki "All very nice people. There isn't a reason to want to marry, there is no reason not to marry"

The wedding reception is planned for June 14th. On the day the news were announced, jungyo replacement member Kagayaki was kyujo due to appendicitis - no surgery needed, he planned to be back the next day  o  and there were no contrary reports - he's absent from the torikumi schedule only on one day.

She was national top in long jump in 6th grade and was at the interhigh for javelin throwing. In university she was national top in taekwondo

They'll register the marriage on shonichi, day 1, Jan. 11th, when he's "at home",  and have the party on June 6th.

Tsurugisho proposed to her last August in a restaurant in Kumamoto. He was there for condolences and she by chance had a flight to the location. Yuuka's dream in kindergarten was okamisan.

He'll have to fight to stay sekitori this basho - he said that if he drops, he'll retire. Yuuka (172cm) wants to continue to work.

Corrected: Apparently they really registered the marriage on day 1. The ward office is closed that day, they simply put it there - threw it in the letter box. The article today told that after the interview on the 9th, Tsurugisho and Yuuka went for the registration there on this day (=today), before going to the basho - and registered the kokugikan as the family domicile (honseki) o

- I didn't think that a registration is valid this way and interpreted "on this day" as the day of the interview - the article also has the wrong kanji for ward office, I should have been more careful with one like that

- if the office accepts this, the children will have the kokugikan as shusshin
