well ... he fought 4 out of 5 ozeki (only Kaio left), he fought the Yokozuna, he fought the 2 Sekiwake and a joi-jin rikishi.

AND HE IS 4-4 !!!!!!!!

i say it is his KK to lose from now on. If i had to put money i would pick the "YES" option, he'll make it.

why i love sumo

in weightlifting you alway have a pretty damned good idea of who is going to win but in sumo.....

it is no easy thing to make your 8

i really like Asasekiryu and thought he might have been the next asa at one point

he was fighting for his life here

it was a great win for asa2

btw, tommy kono a good friend of mine is very excited about the prospects of sumo coming to hawaii in june...he is a good buddy of mushashimaru and akebono and refereed the sumo matches in the world's strongest man competitions a few decades back
