Musouyama & Musashimaru

I like Musashimaru-oyakata as a commentator.

I also like Hiro Morita , but he is too Majime.

Anyway I found these two in Utube.

Musashimaru and Musouyama were on TV in 1994. These two are parts of the program.

I was very interested to learn about the raising of the ol' bat & balls in the mawashi, never realized that they would do it that way, as well the question about the keigo was interesting, and was something I've always wondered about with rikishi within a heya constantly trading positions

This video does not show till the end of the program, but the last part was very interesting.

Musouyama let Musashimaru go first (let Musouyama pass in front of him), and after that Musouyama follwed Musashimaru. I was so impressed. At that time, Musashimaru was already Ozeki. so Musouyama let him go first. That's banzuke.

Musouyama was 22 year old at that time. He was kawaii!!

If you can understand what they are talking, that's great, because two MC are from Kansai-area. They use Kansai-ben. It means that you are able to understand Kansai-ben as well. (In a state of confusion...)

I've tried amateur Sumo & I'm curious to know what is the "raising of the ol' bat & balls in the mawashi"?
