Fay Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Just like to try it and start a new game, let's call it "Heya Cup". You have to reach a KK with the rikishi of your own virtual heya. Just have a look and if you still have time to play another game, give it a try (Laughing...) You will find the rules and more here
charliki Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 It looks nice (Sign of approval...) I'll try it (Holiday feeling...)
XiaoTan Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 That's certainly worth a try. I'll definitely enter. Neko
Kotononami Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 (edited) The concept of this new game seems to be great (Holiday feeling...) But I don't understand this part of the rules because of my poor english : Your rikishi can fight each day during the basho as you chose them in the beginning. But you can also decide daily that one of your sekitori rikishi fights for double digits and another sekitori can take a rest for the day, but this is only valid for this special day, you may choose for the next day again or your choice of the beginning is valid. Can you specify the rules with examples? Do we have to make a choice for a special day before or during the basho? Thanks a lot (Sign of approval...) Edited December 22, 2006 by Kotononami
Chiyomaru Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 I will give it a try, it will be my very first sumo game to play... (apart from the board game I have at home (Sign of approval...) )
Ganzohnesushi Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 Seems to be a really good game as it includes all divisions and it's a nice mix of pre-Basho and daily Game with only little time effort. I like it right from the beginning. Now let's see what the Christall Ball says... Ganzohnesushi

You don't need to make a choice on every day, but you can, if you like. Your choice: Miyabiyama for double points Hokutoriki shall have a rest for the day ( which might be good anyway (Holiday feeling...)) the bouts: Miyabiyama wins Hokutoriki loses your points: 2 Miyabiyama loses Hokutoriki wins your points: 0 Miyabiyama wins Hokutoriki wins your points: 2 The following day everything will be like you choose in the beginning or you might also make a new guess with any sekitori you like. Deadline for the daily guess: 0:00 MEZ Deadline for the Game is Saturday the 6th, but I will announce it
Vikanohara Posted December 22, 2006 Posted December 22, 2006 (edited) I've just sent in my virtual Heya. Hope to do a little better than in Guess The Banzuke. But that won't be too hard. Just keeping one behind me and I would have succeeded. (Sign of approval...) Edited December 22, 2006 by Vikanohara
aderechelsea Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 i've sent an entry myself but i am not really sure yet how this game works .... maybe i should read the rules for starters .... (Neener, neener...) looks interesting though
Itachi Posted December 23, 2006 Posted December 23, 2006 This game looks like fun. I especially like that it incorporates all 6 divisions. I'll add this to my list of things to do before shonichi. Itachi
Fay Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 I will send you a confirmation when I get your entry to the game. You can also check it on this site. Those who are not listed until the evening of their entry, please try again or send me an email of your guess.
aderechelsea Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 hey !!! where is my name on that list? now i have to do the entry again .... ???
Fay Posted December 25, 2006 Author Posted December 25, 2006 hey !!! where is my name on that list?now i have to do the entry again .... ??? Yes, I'm sorry. :-P Seems this (Censored) formular doesn't do its work like it should ....
Vikanohara Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 I took a print screen before hitting the Submit button, so I could check my chosen rikishi again. This appeared to be a good idea, as my entry didn't arrive either. Thanks to the print screen I didn't have to redo all.
Fay Posted December 29, 2006 Author Posted December 29, 2006 Only one more week to make you entry to the Heya-Cup
Fay Posted December 30, 2006 Author Posted December 30, 2006 Quite astonishing for me ( but maybe only for me) which rikishi from Makuuchi/Juryo are on the first two ranks of the chosen rikishi for the Heya Cup. So for a little special price - no idea yet, what it will be - tell me who are these two. The first one who is right will get it - Deadline saturday 6-01-07 20:00 MEZ
Fujisan Posted December 30, 2006 Posted December 30, 2006 (edited) I assume they are not the usual suspects- I think based on a low ranking Tamanoshima and Juryo newbie Wakanoho. Edit Am I allowed to enter since I dont play the game? Sorry but my lower division(Pre-Juryo) knowledge is practically non existent. Edited December 31, 2006 by Fujisan
Fay Posted December 31, 2006 Author Posted December 31, 2006 Edit Am I allowed to enter since I dont play the game? Sorry but my lower division(Pre-Juryo) knowledge is practically non existent. Sure, everybody can participate (Nodding yes...)
Asashosakari Posted December 31, 2006 Posted December 31, 2006 (edited) Edit Am I allowed to enter since I dont play the game? Sorry but my lower division(Pre-Juryo) knowledge is practically non existent. Sure, everybody can participate (Nodding yes...) May I ask for a clarification of what it is that you're asking? One rikishi from each of Makuuchi and Juryo, or just any two sekitori? And do you mean among the already-submitted picks, or among all picks that will eventually be submitted for the basho? It's a bit confusing that you're already astonished about the picks when (I suspect) you probably don't have even half of the final number of participants yet... BTW, does that Saturday 20:00 CET deadline apply to the game as well? Edited December 31, 2006 by Asashosakari

To clarify: - just two sekitori - among all picks (but I already think it's a trend based on my enormous statistical knowledge (Nodding yes...)) and right Saturday 20:00 MEZ/CET is the deadline
Fay Posted January 3, 2007 Author Posted January 3, 2007 Already 28 players - if I take part - so don't forget your entry. You still have 3 days ... ;-)
