  1. #MeToo I was tinkering with the "s" in the https (just in case) and the day number and I noticed that you can access days 6 to 15 to put your line-up, which is funny and logic considering the error. Maybe the checkbox "Make this lineup the default for the remainder of the basho" changes it for the past also (shouldn't technically, but you never know) and can be used to circumvent the bug.
  2. You guys are forgetting that, with his makekoshi, Takayasu only goes kadoban. To go down to maegashira he has to have a makekoshi the next tournament too.
  3. What's funniest to me is that Tomokaze defeated Mitakeumi in Mitakeumi's style and yesterday Tomokaze lost to Ryuden in Tomokaze's style. By the way, who's that dashing young prospect that's dropping maegashiras left and right from M11? Maybe he can win a yusho and for sure he has ozeki potential. Oh, and in another topic, Atamifuji, by stumbling clumsily forward, failed to get a 9th yorikiri in a row from the start of the basho (irrespective of win or loss). I had a very nice post with lost of links to queries explaining the records in MU and juryo but the freaking forbidden error crap from the forum defeated me. Suffice to say the MU record streak from the start is 9 while juryo's is 13 by Chiyo(no)o. Most yorikiris in a single basho (win or lose, no streak required) is 13 by a bunch of guys. Maybe I'll post the queries in the trivia bits thread if I find the patience and it doesn't give me the shitty error. P.S:Now the forum doesn't even allow me to put a single hyperlink on. FFS
  4. Oh, and a tip for everybody, in case you don't know it, if the db keeps being down: Clicking on the bout number in Toto and TTT gives you a pop-up window with the match-up history and both rikishi current basho results. Truly excellent.
  5. Homasho, Gagamaru and Asasekiryu are my picks for tomorrow. Thank you. Right now I cannot enter sumodb or Golynohana's at all, but Bench, Toto, TTT and ISP are pickable (ISP is Kinbozan-Ichiyamamoto, this time for real, 100% no fake).
  6. Yes, don't remind me.. We can always say he's the exception that proves the rule.
  7. It really was Wakatakakage-Aonishiki FML I'm really sorry guys, I remembered...poorly
  8. Somebody should ask him if he's a member of Nambla (Nippon Association Marlon Brando Look-Alikes)
  9. Oh, you shouldn't have bothered...We should, as a community, take into consideration those poor fellas that couldn't submit their picks and call this day a wash. Right? Riiiiight? (Internally seething ) Bout 47 - Oskanohana (S1E) 9 [2-5] Tsukiotoshi Oyama (M6E) 10 [4-3] 11 3-4 +25 1.796 Oskahanada Meisei 2-4 L Hiradoumi 4-2 L (-2) L -2 0.020
  10. Oskahanada is the name on these sites
  11. I think it was Takayasu-Abi, but I'm not really that sure, 80% chance.
  12. That's why they get paid the big bucks
  13. Just in case the sites don't come up in time and admins can post the submissions, here are mine: 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 You're free to copy them (not really, that's bad practice) Just to make clear, if I submitted Toto and ISP as I think I did, those submissions are ok even if these here don't match. When the deadline is close or passes, I'll post the normal message, I don't want admins to have to decode this crap.
  14. All sumogames.de sites went out about 20 minutes ago. I was just waiting in case the certificate is being updated or something. It kicked me out while I was doing my TTT picks and I thought the universe was punishing me for voting against Chiyoshoma yesterday
  15. Another juryo janitor leaves us. Good riddance, big guy
  16. I'm supposed to be the lone Chiyoshoma lover in the planet yet in TTT today I'm the only one to pick against him? Really???? 2 3-3 +27 1.776 Oskahanada Kotoeiho 0-5 W (2) Hiradoumi 4-1 L (0) W +2 1.025 J2e Kotoeiho 1-5 oshidashi 2-0 J2w Chiyoshoma 2-4
  17. I was pretty disappointed with Takayasu today in the komusubi battle. He understood that Aonishiki likes to have a low stance and tried to lift him up with quick tsuppari, but by now he should know that technique requires staying pretty nimble on your feet and, most importantly, mouthing "shiu-shiu" with every stroke.
  18. Nice. Now I know to whom I'll be sending my big pile of kimarite complaints.
  19. Not a game bug per se, but the sumogames.de sites are giving me an "expired certificate" error. It's easy to get around it, but it's annoying.
  20. If you haven't seen it, I recommend you to take a look if you can (maybe @Asashosakari will highlight the bout on his lower division thread) at Dewataikai vs Tochimaru in mid makushita today. Dewataikai challenged for the title of fastest gunslinger in the east, that Choo-Choo train Tochimaru has held for a long time. I won't spoil the result. Takarafuji's interview after his win today against "young" newcomer Asahakuryu: "Look at the skill, look at the moves!" (paraphrasing DoA) (I bet nobody gets this reference here )
  21. Well, he's started his mummyfying process already. I suppose his tsukebitos will be buried with him under the dohyo, which is, might I remember you, atop a truncated pyramid. I'd love for sumo to have courtside reporters. For all 1387 Takarafuji's bouts the interview would go like this: - Reporter: Hello Mr. Takarafuji, what's your strategy for today's bout? -Takarafuji:
  22. It works now. 5 minutes ago it worked, I started doing some things in other tabs and forgot if I had submitted and it locked me out. Turns out I had submitted anyways. Thanks.
