Very solid bout from Miyamoto today, still in the hunt (2-2) after a bad start.

Sorry for the lateness of this banzuke, but here it is, the Trio banzuke for Natsu Basho : http://www.info-sumo.net/info/modules.php?...opic&t=6169 Konosato is the new leader of the banzuke, earning the top spot among fellow Ozekis Misisko, Hakajusakari and Kintamayama. The latter two are kadoban, though. Kitano is promoted to Sekiwake thanks to his nice 10-5 performance as a Komusubi in Haru. Kotononami, with a Jun-Yusho as a Sekiwake, is now on a run for Ozeki. Best upward jump is for Bogdanyama, with a 11-4 score and Yusho, moving up the ladder to W-Maegashira 5. Fatakiyama from Juryo is promoted to the big (and now only) stage . See you in Nagoya !

I don't know if Homasho is injured, or depressed, or just dumb, but maybe his whole tactic of hanging around the center of dohyo, playing defense, taking no initiative and just waiting for his opponent to drop dead, isn't good enough for joi-jin ranks ??! (Sign of disapproval...) His Oyakata was a master for attacking and harrassing his opponent with a large combination of moves, can't he just give him some ideas, like maybe trying a straight forward oshidashi out of tachi-ai once in a while...

Woa, my 15 minutes of fame in the BS standings. I knew all those years of random picking in the darkness of Jonidan would eventually pay off. Ganbatte ! (Applauding...)

lol You've just jinxed him right there, as much as me playing him in the sumogames tomorrow.

Congratulations to Leonishiki ! I needed him to do two things for me today : beat Aobanoniji in Sumo Game so I can grab the juryo yusho (he did not), and have a low score in S4 so I can win the kanto-sho (he scored a perfect)... Thank you very much ! lol
