I love it everytime Doreen is commentating on the NKH. She's just a goldmine of interesting sumo facts, and she's just adorable. Congratulations Doreen, you rock!

Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but when I see Kisenosato on the Dohyo I feel like his heart isn't truly in it. When Harumafuji beat Hakuho on the final day, you could absolutely see he gave the bout everything he had and it was inspiring to see. Makes me want to cheer for Harumafuji everytime I see him, he's got fighting spirit. When I see Kisenosato fight I just don't feel the same energy, he's statistically very good but it feels like he is lacking heart. Is that just me?

Computer screen recording sucks. I have yet to find any app remotely adequate, even the ones you have to pay for dearly. Yeah I've never had anything but trouble with screen recording, maybe there's someone smarter than I around here than knows a better way to get the footage out of the app.

I really appreciate everyone that takes their time to find footage, edit it and post it. It's a gargantuan task, but thank you guys for everything you do. Kintamayama especially. On that note, I know finding footage has been tricky this basho after the removal of the uStream. I've used android emulators in the past, and there's a number of fairly functional options. Has anyone considered screen recording from the Sumo app in an emulator? Bouts are posted on the sumo app very quickly and the quality is pretty good. Might be more effort than it's worth, but I thought I'd toss in the idea.

I've been rooting for Homarenishiki since the day I heard a Canadian would be entering Sumo, and I hope he's doing okay. Not just Homarenishiki but all the members of Nishikido. Watching drama like this can definitely be part of the fun of Sumo, but I sincerely do hope it's nothing dire and than everyone is unharmed.
