Hey all, Sorry if this has been asked before, I couldn't find it my searches. I'll be visiting Tokyo in Feb., where are the best stores to find Sumo merchandise during this time? I'm interested in pretty much anything like you would find during the Basho inside the stadium. If you could be somewhat specific, that would help me with locating it on Google maps. :) Also, I'm guessing there are no stable tours/visits that would be appropriate for an 9y girl to visit? Thanks so much in advance!

What services do they provide? How much does it cost? Is it worth it? How do you make a reservation? Do they each provide the same thing? I was curious when I saw them when I visited the kokugikan. Thanks in advance :)

Then you shouldn't have any problem with it if/when someone tries one on Hakuho. I wouldn't. In fact I was surprised nobody tried it during his winning streak. Oosunaarashi's and Hakuho's forearm blasts to the chin are dangerous and career threatening. I don't think that's a fair comparison.

If any yokozuna deserves to be on the receiving end of a henka it's Kakuryu. Didn't he pull at least one during his yusho run? I'm not a fan of henka, but it's Kakuryu's fault for falling for it.

And has it shown in their matches? I'm sure that sort of stuff is frowned upon, but I was just wondering if there has ever been such an intense rivalry?

You could really hear the headbutts in the Homasho bout. Ouch!

I always have to laugh when these rikishi come out and say how ashamed they are for pulling a henka. I can't stand the tactic, or the false apology. However good for Aran, I definitely noticed the improvement in his fighting spirit! Ganbatte!

What happened to Asasekiryū?

I actually more bothered by Takanoyama's henkas than Hakuho's remorse. I know Takanoyama's small, and his throws are cool, but the henka is nothing to be celebrated. I felt the same with Hakuba. That guy drove me nuts.

He'll get more wins than Tochinoshin. Book it.

No drug testing in Sumo I take it?

Thanks for the info, I'm envious. I had a couple given to me by an acquaintance a couple years back, but always wanted more. Too bad, maybe they'll bring them back again one day...
