When I’m searching stock photography sites for work (I’m an editor) I have to remember to de-select that option lest I choose one accidentally and the intern ends up downloading expensive photos that don’t just cost at the point of purchase but for all future print runs as well. Exceptions to “corporations” permitting use of their images are when they are publicly owned. For example, NASA photos are public domain because NASA is a state organ. Even then I think there are restrictions on use for commercial purposes (I’d need to verify that). The Kyokai’s status is less clear to me. The concept of Fair Use does allow some usage of even editorial photos, which is often what you’ll find in blogs. Generally speaking you can get away with borrowing a photo for decorative purposes in a non-commercial way. Teachers are also free to use copyrighted photos in their lessons without much concern. Are you serious? Not normal at all. We have had less competing sanyaku before and still a komusubi has fought Hakuho and Kakuryu when ranked Ywest. When we had 4 yokozuna yes it has but just two very strange indeed.
