May 25, 2009 Day After Yuushou I had so much fun drinking sake last night that I don't even remember it! I drank too much! Hahahaha. I had a post-yuushou interview this morning. This is a picture of me at 10am after I changed back into my clothes. After that I took my mom to the airport. I'm glad I could do my parents proud by winning the championship. Now that the tournament is over, I should be able to relax a little bit. Thanks for your comments everybody!

May 24, 2009 (Day 15) I'm so freaking happy! I won my first tournament! I'm truly happy. I want to thank God, my family, and all of you who have supported me. Shofukutei Tsurubei from NHK [he's a famous rakugo-ka] came to congratulate me on my championship. Thank you. Today's victory V is the championship V! hahaha Now I'm really busy with TV and stuff!! Thanks to everyone who wrote comments on my blog supporting me. Now it's time to drink some delicious sake!

May 20, 2009 (11th day) Thanks to you guys, I ran out of fingers. :) 11 wins! Thanks for getting excited about my match. I borrowed my attendant Toukata's finger. [trans: not sure about the reading of the name] Today I watched my opponent carefully and was able to win the match. Now more than ever, each match is extremely important. Hope I can kick some ass with my sumo! Please support me again tomorrow.

NP guys. Missed a few, but here's today's May 19, 2009 (10th day) Today I had a long match. I'm glad I could stay calm and take the victory! I'm so freaking tired, but I won so no problem! Hahaha I spent some time in the oxygen capsule too. 10 wins!!! I don't know what it is, but I feel like I can win the whole thing!! Hahaha Thank you guys for supporting me everyday. Please fire me up for tomorrow.

May 13th, 2009 I've won four straight! I think that's what an Ozeki is supposed to do, but anyway I'm happy! It's only the beginning though. Each day brings a new match. I'll try my best to win.

Howdy. I was watching the basho the other day and they showed some kid in the crowd with a cool Harumafuji shirt on. I don't remember exactly, but it was pretty simple. Like a black shirt with white kanji 日馬富士 on it. I wish I had a screenshot or video to show you guys, but I don't. I do know that it was on Day 6, somewhere in the middle (like around Kokkai's match). Anyway, does anyone know where I can get this shirt? I tried searching online, but I couldn't find anything.
