How does one "adopt" a rikishi anyway? For some time I've wanted to find a young bloke or two that I could follow a bit more closely and hopefully see live whenever I get to Japan -an adoptee like so many of you have. (Was thinking of Kaionokura.)

In Fukuoka, everything is going smoothly. The dohyo was re-built plowing dohyo (earth) and patting it. It was finished by noon on Saturday with one yobidashi

It's always my speculative intai, although I wanted to stop all my speculations :-D. I don't have any deeper informations, all who are close to the heya only make guesses by their own. Just thought the heya party instead of an expensive hotel could be a sign for it, but it could also have thousands of other reasons.

Even Takanohana made his last party in Kyushu in the heya, so perhaps this is something like back to the roots ;-)
