Fay 1,677 Posted August 10, 2007 10.05.2007 It is very hot in Tokyo, 34C everyday and night. We wonder how is the weather where you are living!? Our rikishi are fine doing keiko and muscle training. They sometime go to the sports center for their training. A sports trainer whom our rikishi met newly came to our heya to teach them as well. Sumo-Kyoshujo will be closed from tomorrow for summer holiday. Then, there are classes from 20th
Fay 1,677 Posted August 14, 2007 (edited) <14th August> Our summer camp training started on 11th (Saturday) at the same place as the one last year. It is in Chiba-prefecture next to Tokyo. However, the place is very cool Edited August 14, 2007 by Fay
Fay 1,677 Posted August 23, 2007 (edited) There are still some other wrestlers than my favourite active Yokozuna Asashoryu ( and I hope he will be active soon again .... ) but ... here are some pics Kaisei's father sent me today. Kaisei active in brazilian sumo and with brazilian girls (Blushing...). Edited August 23, 2007 by Fay
Fay 1,677 Posted September 2, 2007 <19th, Sunday> On 17th (Friday), our rikishi returned Tokyo from summer camp. They all have a good sun-tan! Yesterday and today are off from Keiko. They woke up late and relaxed the whole day

Fay 1,677 Posted September 9, 2007 Aki Basho 2007 - Day 01 I missed Kainokura (who won against Hashimoto) and Kainofuji (who won against Takama) cause I didn't want to get out of my cool bed to the heat outside. So we start with Kainoryu, who just went 16 a few days ago. He had to fight against Saio, a good long fight, in the end he wasn't lucky enough but nevertheless it looked quite good. Tha last shin deshi from Tomozuna, Kainomiya, also had to compete today. His opponent was Tenkaizan. Kainomiya tried to lift Tenkaizan out of the dohyo but wasn't sucessful in the end. His brother had to fight just after him and you can see him here in the background - and he could win! The next one was Kainohama, he could beat Nagai and get his first win (Applauding...). Followed by my "little" Kainowaka (Applauding...) (Sign of approval...). He saw me and won - that's the way it should be (Clapping wildly...) The bout of the day was Takanoyama - Kaishoryu, they fought for at least 4-5 minutes, then the shimpan stopped them and they had to fight again one or two bouts later. Kaishoryu won in the end. It was amazing to see how strong and tough Takanoyama is despite his lightness.
Koneko 0 Posted September 9, 2007 Thank you for the great pictures, Fay! Do you get a chance to talk to any of the boys during the basho? If so, tell them good luck from me!
Fay 1,677 Posted September 10, 2007 (edited) Aki Basho 2007 - Day 02 Too late again cause I had to start with Takanohana beya this morning. So this time I missed Kaisenryu and came just in time for Kaishinho. Fortunately Kaisenryu could win his bout against Komanokuni without me, so I don't need to twit myself (Sign of approval...). Kaishinho had Tanno today, much bigger than him, but he could beat him. Seems to be true, what the heya wrote lately, that he is getting more self confidence. Nice bout. Brazilian Kaisei had Daishoki today and he also got his first win, but I only one bad picture. Pictures of the Ozeki in the Ozeki for Yokozuna thread. Fay 1,677 Posted September 11, 2007 (edited) This time I wasn't to late, I even saw some Maezumo bouts, but I didn't prepare my camera early enough and so I missed to shoot Kainofuji's brave win over Tateishi. Only two more Tomozuna rikishi today (except the Ozeki). Next one was Kaisenryu. I would love to see him having a really good basho. He started with a win on Day 01 but today against Inui he hadn't power enough to get his next one. Kaishinho was strong again in his second bout but not strong enough to win it. His opponent was Haruzakura this time, a lot heavier than him, a close god fight of Kaishinho. Edited September 11, 2007 by Fay
Fay 1,677 Posted September 12, 2007 (edited) Havn't seen Konokuchi and Jonidan today, so only the results of Kainokura - his second win, Kainoryu - his second loss and Kainomiya - his first win and so equal to his brother. But it was a disastrous day for the lower divisions of Tomozuna, all of them lost and Kaisei and Kainowaka a bit disappointing. The first one was Kainohama against Daihoyama. kainohama was overwhelmed by his opponent and couldn't do anything against it. Kaisei alreday had his opponent Amanoumi at the edge and couldn't finish but was thrown to the ground ;-) , this wasn't necessary at all. Kainowaka, the same. A long fight and he nearly beat Futasegawa but in the end he lost. All are now 1-1. sorry when I see Kainowaka I can't resist ;-) Kaio as always in the thread Ozeki run. Jonosuke 28 Posted September 20, 2007 You know some of these young Tomozuna boys, they look like they are ready to form a heavy metal band.... The oyakata should make sure to lock them up every night in the heya and have a chaperone whenever they go out.

That's more than true, specially Kainomiya knows how cute he is looking. Koneko 0 Posted September 20, 2007 That's more than true, specially Kainomiya knows how cute he is looking. So the Oyakata is glad he has an old german lady looking for them - at least in the Kokugican :-) Heh, Kainokura brings out my motherly feelings - every time I see his picture I just want to roll him up in a warm blanket and bake him an apple pie... (God, they look so young.) He still has one bout to fight, doesn't he? Gambare! Good looking boys, definitely - good for them to have a spare "mum" to look after them. (Applauding...) Fay 1,677 Posted September 21, 2007 Some keiko pics from this morning, we were too late so I missed the youngsters, Kainoryu had to go to the Kokugikan and Kainomiya and Kainofuji had to prepare breakfast. But kainokura was there.
