This morning, Dohyomatsuri of our heya was held because we did dohyo-tsuki last three days.

Dohyo-matsuri is a ritual ceremony whenever a dohyo is built or is re-built

The tsukibito of Kaio for Nagoya-basho are Kainowaka, Kainohama, Kainomiya and Kainoryu.

Our shindeshi (Kainomiya, Kainoryu, Kainokura and Kainofuji) take turns to work as members of Kaio

Blue sky! Sometimes, it is nice to forget that it is rainy season in Japan.

Kaio, Kainowaka and Kaisenryu started keiko from Thursday after their Hawaii trip.

Kaio is very fine even after keiko. Kaisenryu is doing as usual. But, Kainowaka

Had a short look on the new banzuke.

Kaisei is now SD 18w and so he got ahead of Kainohama (SD34e) and Kainowaka (SD34w) (Sign of approval...)

Time to push yourselves boys (Showing respect...)

The Banzuke of Nagoya-basho was announced yesterday.

Kaisei, Kainohama and Kainokura reached their best ranks.

Kaisei reached SD 18, Kainohama SD 34 and Kainokura was the only shindeshi who could make a jump to Jonidan (Jd 103).

If you're using Firefox (as you should be..) just press the stop icon. Pictures will stop loading immediately and you'll be able to read. Maybe it works for IE as well, who nose..

It does. My pavlov's inner self is already conditioned to aim for the stop button everytime I enter this thread.

And here's the trick for not missing any unseen pictures: highlight the new post to spot the image frames, right-click them and select "show image".
