Fay 1,677 Posted August 31, 2006 (edited) Harumi is in the air so I tried to decode some informations about the new man of Tomozuna Beya. Ricardo's shikona will be 魁聖 一郎, which (hopefully) means Kaiseiichiro or Kaisei Ichiro? - I think this must be corrected by someone who speaks japanese (In jonokuchi...) it doesn't look really correct to me. He got the "sei" (holy, saint) because his hometown is Sao Paolo, and the "ichiro" from his father. And he has german !!! and italian blood so one more for my adoptee list. (In jonokuchi...) He is 1,92m and his weight is 148 kg and he wants to become like Kotooshu. His first appearance on he dohyo will be on the third day of the Aki basho - and I'm not there because I made an appointment (In jonokuchi...) (In jonokuchi...) Are you sure you can preemptivley sweep him up like that?? I thought Sumofan and I were going to share him, since we are already sharing Kainohama. Today we visited the Heya and there will be nice photos of the rikishi when I'm back home - and even of Kainohama, who is doing really great this basho - for all who adopted him (Applauding...) Perhaps collating updates into a monthly 'hatful' with a summary so readers can use that to decide if the latest update(s) is / are worth checking out.
