Was he injured yesterday? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> While defeating Tamanoshima on Day 2, Asasekiryu re-injured the right knee that caused him to go kyujo during Nagoya Basho. It's officially an "injured" medial collateral ligament. I saw the bout on the stream and it was clear he was favoring the leg as he got off the dohyo.
