Jakusotsu 4,995 Posted March 28, 2005 Please hurry up. It is very interesting situation.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> You're welcome to hurry up and post Your version. I'm eager to see it.
amgaa99 0 Posted March 28, 2005 I have no version. I am the newest fan of sumo. I prefer to see version of others. :-)
kotooshu_bulgaria 0 Posted March 28, 2005 Well, in case you are the newest fan in sumo, you might want to remove the "EAST YOKOZUNA" sign under your name and put "mae-zumo" or something... (In a state of confusion...)
Odoriou 0 Posted March 28, 2005 I couldn't find a perfect solution for the Sekiwake/Komusubi problem, so I created a 10 men Sanyaku: (In a state of confusion...) Asashoryu - Yokozuna E Kaio - Ozeki E1 Tochiazuma - Ozeki W1 Chiyotaikai - Kadoban W2 Hakuho - Sekiwake E1 Tosanoumi - Sekiwake W1 Tamanoshima - Sekiwake E2 Kotomitsuki - Komusubi E1 Roho - Komusubi W1 Wakanosato - Komusubi W2 Not very likely - what do you think? (Clapping wildly...)
Kashunowaka 269 Posted March 28, 2005 Who has the full banzuke forecast of next basho? In Makuuchi and Juroyu. Please hurry up. It is very interesting situation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, if anyone was going to post a forecast, I am sure they won't bother now. Your "please hurry up" comes off as a bit rude. Yoavoshimaru 0 Posted March 28, 2005 (edited) Here's a forecast: Asashoryu tying Musashimaru and the ill-fated Futabayama with 12 yusho, 2 short of Wajima. Edited March 28, 2005 by Yoavoshimaru

Your "please hurry up" comes off as a bit rude. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You are so right. Maybe I would have written here, but suddenly I have an urge not to do so. In any case much hinges on the number of Sanyaku, so I will just enter the GTB and forget about it until the banzuke is out. kotooshu_bulgaria 0 Posted March 28, 2005 Well, let's not kill this interesting discussion of the new banzuke just because of the ill-measured words of a single member. After all I am sure that amgaa99 didn't mean to be as impolite as he sounded... ;-) Anyways, the new banzuke and especially the sanyaku situation looks like a too big predicament to me, plus my low scoring record in the GTB makes me unwilling to post my prediction here... (Clapping wildly...) BTW, is there any probability that Hayateumi retires due to his poor physical condition? (In a state of confusion...)

(Clapping wildly...) BTW, is there any probability that Hayateumi retires due to his poor physical condition? (In a state of confusion...) Unless Hayateumi is seriously crippled, I don't see any reason for him to retire. I think the only question regarding sanyaku is west komusubi. Jiji Press has Tamanoshima; I would prefer Wakanosato, but otherwise sanyaku is quite clear. No call for an extra sanyaku slot either IMHO.

Zuikakuyama 1 Posted March 28, 2005 I too would prefer Wakanosato over Tamanoshima. I hate to see revolving doors in Sanyaku, and Tamanoshima just has not shown any ability to stay there.

Kashunowaka 269 Posted March 28, 2005 Before a 9-6 M2 Kotomitsuki????? Oh dear.. Now I know why I am so good at this game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> If Tosanoumi *had* been M4, things might have been different ... I was thinking of his actual rank of M3. One rank lower but two (wins-losses) better than Kotomitsuki.
AsaMoe 0 Posted March 28, 2005 My personal Moe-Zumo opinion is, that when there are four sanyaku without the Ozeki and three of them loose their rank, there will be no extra sekiwake slot.

Kasugaran 0 Posted March 29, 2005 Not too sure how these ranking things go, so would appreciate some help. How far is Kasugaoo going to fall? :'-( Thanks
Guest Vincentoryu Posted March 29, 2005 IMHO No need for additional sanyaku slots. So two Sekiwake and two Komusubi

I must admit that I wanted to 'reward' Kasugao for his immortal fighting spirit. :-O (I let Kasugao fall 10 slots, while Kasuganishiki lost 11 ranks - although both had the same record.)
