English Language Monthly Simo Magaizine

Recommended Posts

So here's a thought. I have been bemoaning the fact that there is no English-language sumo magazine available - either online or in print. (In a state of confusion...) So I thought, why not start one myself? The only problem is, I know very very little about sumo (aside from the fact that I am a huge but recent fan). (Help me...)

I'm thinking, if I could get a few of the wonderful wonderful knowledgable people (Showing respect...) on the forum to be contributing authors, I am willing to produce a monthly magazine on sumo in English - a free version available online, and an expanded full-color quality version in print for a fee. (any profits - as if - to be shared among contributors of course) Then I could finally have my English sumo magazine. (Applauding...) :-P ;-)

What do you all think? (Nodding yes...)

PS - please excuse my perhaps excessive use of smilies - I like them!

But, after all, there is a spanish webzine, a french webzine, so why not a full english webzine ? (Applauding...)

By any chance can you tell who is helping you with the magazine? As far as I can tell the only people you could possibly get are from this site.

You are forgetting the sumo mailing list, which also has a wealth of knowledgeable sumo people.

Just a tip: its not neccessary to qoute the entire post you are replying to, especially when its the first post above yours. Edit it down to the relevent part you want to talk about. (Nodding yes...)
