Jejima 1,345 Posted December 22, 2004 ..and even more festive fun! It is possible with the right sort of wins for Hakuho to go all the way to Yokozuna over the course of 2005. But will he get that far?
aderechelsea 124 Posted December 22, 2004 I think he is in a roll right now so he could climb to Ozeki ranks but by 2006 he will fall to Sekiwake again .... (i am sure i will sound like a fool if someone reads this post after Hatsu 2006)
Guest Vincentoryu Posted December 22, 2004 Next year he will climb to Ozeki. In 2006 he will become Yokozuna I think.
Manekineko 200 Posted December 22, 2004 Voted ozeki like the majority (it seems), but the minute I voted I felt it was too much. Dunno, I should trust my feelings, as they predicted Muso's intai this time around... :'-(
Sasanishiki 57 Posted December 23, 2004 I think sekiwake. I think he will take a while to find his feet and stabilise for a bit. He may also have an injury in store for 2005. Now I start to sound like a clairvoyant I will stop :-P
Jesinofuji 11 Posted December 25, 2004 Ozeki. He will become Yokozuna sometime in 2006.
rodarvus 2 Posted December 29, 2004 Voted for Hakuho being in joi-jin ranks. I feel he has more raw power than then yokozuna had while at this same stage in his career - but to my eyes Hakuho fighting style is too injure prone, and I "kind of sense" he might be in trouble in the next few bashos. (I don't *want* that to happen... I just think it is reasonably likely :-( )
Lucius Flavonius 0 Posted December 30, 2004 Ozeki with one Yusho, or a couple of kettei-sens.
