That is, I'm thinking someone new is doing the torikumi, and they were told what they did wrong on Day 2, and then overcorrected for Day 3. 4. Gonoyama I also noticed the Day 3 oddness.
Jakusotsu 5,817 Posted September 10 The two WTK pickes might have benefitted from the Hamster's kyujo, but who can say for sure. The Day 4 oddness for me is Bushozan-Kagayaki, which doesn't seem to fit the rest of the upper bill. Sumo Spiffy (S1e) 3-1 Oshirokita (K1w) 3-1 Gurowake (YOe) 2-2 Bunbukuchagama (S1w) 2-2 Jakusotsu (S2e) 2-2 Profomisakari (S2w) 2-2 Ryoshishokunin (K2e) 2-2 Fashiriteta (M1w) 2-2 shimodahito (M2w) 2-2 Athenayama (M3e) 2-2 Jejima (K1e) 1-3 Hakuhonofan (M1e) 1-2-1 The Kyokai (M3w) 0-4 Reonito (YOw) intai WAKATAKE (M2e) kosho Ura's aites: 1. And I think @Gurowake was correct in saying that the Day 2 difference was down to 'they forgot'
Ryoshishokunin 263 Posted September 10 Certainly the Takakeisho kyujo threw off *my* logic, even if it wasn't the Kyokai's. 5. Meisei

I assumed they were guessing a Takakeisho kyujo when I saw them.

As much as I'd like to take credit for Nostradamus-ing the pick, I had them lining up the bottom four sanyaku on day four (S2E/K1W and S2W/K1E), because that's been the general approach for a little while. That freed two joi wrestlers above M4 to fight each other. Then, if they kept rotating like they did on day two, the next fights were M4E/M6E, M4W/M6W, M5E/M7E. Going back to the "normal" even day setup pushed Ura all the way down to Endo, and the way schedules have looked of late made that seem wrong. So I went with Waka and ended up being right for the wrong reason.
