Not me. Roga had a MK and there was room to move him down, but they didn't. Most perplexing.

First banzuke of the new makers team - Asanoyama still gets treated as hard as possible, while otherwise they focus on securing the benefices of the present ones and blocking the ascent of the new ones, even more than the previous team, so it seems.

I still don't have regained enough motivation to analyze my own mistakes and try to adjust my selections - I always do it in one go and one try shortly after the basho, keeping the sent entry form for a while to be able to adjust just one rank and send it again, but I nearly never give it another look.

I believe I researched that question before, and IIRC the answer was there has never been 2 identical submissions in a game of GTB.

I did get that right, and my logic was they wouldn't want to put Kagayaki right behind Chiyoshoma (the former being 1.5 ranks lower and with 1 fewer win than the latter)

In regards to the GTB yusho... I'd like to thank my supporters, I tried not to think about the yusho, I just wanted to give it my all, taking it one guess at a time, and doing my brand of GTB. My goal now is to train hard and perform in a way that humbly honors the dignity of the top rank. :)

It takes veteran chops to make that kind of blunder only when it doesn't affect the sanyaku size.

I was going to ask about this, because from what it sounded like, your two mistakes ended up meaning that you got Takakeisho right, but I didn't want to be the one to bring it up.

It looks like someone picked Shimanoumi where they clearly meant Shonannoumi.
