Jejima 1,314 Posted July 1 M3W Suwihuto will be checking in on M3W Gonoyama. Gonoyama has only had 4 MKs in his 3 year career.

Jejima 1,314 Posted July 1 M12W WAKATAKE TAKES M9W Tamawashi. Tamawashi remains a solid mid-Maegashira rikishi, despite his age.
Jejima 1,314 Posted July 1 Copying and pasting from last basho's thread.... I've noticed that some people are adding 'likes' to their picks, and this made me think..... Perhaps we could indicate that we have read to see who we have been assigned, AND show how we feel about the pick.... The four options are: 'Thanks' (trophy), 'Haha' (laughing face), 'Confused' (confused face) and 'Sad' (Sad face). So, why not use those as the four indications of how you think your rikishi will do? 'Thanks' = I expect a really good result (10-5 minimum, but more likely 11+ wins) 'Haha' = I am happy with my pick - and I am expecting a KK. 'Confused' = I am really not sure about my pick - might depend on whether my rikishi is fully fit etc (so a suitable 'like' for my son Kaba's 'Terunofuji'). "Sad' = I'm not happy with this pick, and I am already preparing myself for an MK. This is for the message where you get your rikishi, not this actual message.

Instead of “Haha” to indicate you’re happy with your pick, why not ❤️? “Haha” to me indicates you’re laughing at who your pick is.

Last basho, Chiyoshoma managed an impressive 12-3. @Chiyotasuke needs a new rikishi for the sweepstake, as Chiyoshoma is not in action on day. He gets..... M12E Asanoyama. If Asanoyama is genki, this could be an excellent substitute. But Asanoyama skipped the whole of the previous tournament - and he has only competed every day for two of his past six bashos.

If he is active, this could be an excellent selection for Gaijingai. @Gaijingai also needs another rikishi, as Takerufuji is sadly kyujo on day 1. Gaijingai gets..... M16W Bushozan. Bushozan's previous two results were both 9-6! (But in Juryo....) Last time Bushozan was ranked at M16W (back in January), he ended up 4-11.
