I regret facing the best scorer of the day. Some maniac who thinks Hiradoumi was a safer pick than Kirishima and Hoshoryu.(Pullinghair...)

Even worse: losing against someone taking a gambit with Hiradoumi and Midorifuji.

Well, it wasn't just Hiradoumi as you fell 2 points back.

Then again, I won't tell you all my strategy secrets. :-P

@Kaito No regrets for you in Sumo Game, as you faced the best scorer of the day (tied with Asapedroryu).  ;-)

Oh! You got me excited for a moment thinking I had a perfect 10. It was only an 8 :(

To score 10 today you had to be God and know all the secrets of the universe ....

I think today must've been my best day in fantasy ever. Flawless in daily games, but also great results for pre-basho contests. Now if Teru can just go home and have a rest...

Reports that Kinbozan is out, meaning Onosato will go to 5-0 with a freebie.

Tsurugisho now out as well - Gonoyama picks up the win, his third straight since an 0-2 start.

Still no cofirmation on the NSK website, 10 minutes before the sumogames deadline. :-(

Onosato to win is a no-brainer, but I need to know if it's suicidal for Chain Gang...

Do you really expect someone to reply to you about that? (Laughing...)

I can tell you I was picking Onosato and switched off.

I've never seen the articles reporting kyujo be wrong, and I have seen the official website be late to confirm them.

Same here.

Contrariwise here: had Onosato in ChainGang and switched.

Wise decision. As per the rules in case of a kyujo this Bout is eliminated and your default pick becomes active. In case you had used them both already 3x you're out.

Days like these: when you wait for Wakatakakage's first loss to pick him in SekiQuad, and still win. B-)

I thought for sure people would've passed me in Odd today. I had no intention of risking points yesterday but I thought some of the underdog odds looked juicy so I sent myself an e-mail of what my hypothetical picks would look like.

I'd share my tips for tomorrow but I have to head off to the tailor to be fitted for my green mawashi and then I have to put up some new shelves for all these yusho trophies about to come rolling in.

Actually, I noticed this basho that this rule exists , as I thought that maybe you could change your defaults mid-basho, but the screen tells you clearly can't. (I was afraid Kotoeko would go kyujo, as he should have, and I'd get stuck. Luckily, I solved this conundrum putting my trust in Shodai and that got me places)

This is going to make me rethink my defaults for next basho and pick maybe solid guys instead of severely underranked rikishi that are going to get 12+ wins, like Wakatakakage and Hakuoho (that was a good prediction). In a perfect world, this default lock could be changed so you could default daily also but maybe the rijicho thinks this lock adds flavour to the game. Or maybe it's too cumbersome to change the code.

Thanks to somebody's utter collapse, Quad Yusho is up for grabs. That somebody is the only one that can compete with my tie-breaker but we'd need to win and hope that @Athenayama and Norizo of all people lose tomorrow for that to even matter. Is @Jakusotsu going to tank his tie-breaker or is he picking the Kotoeko's of the world he has available?

Regarding SumoGame, despite the site's amazing stats page, I don't think you can easily look up 15-0 and 0-15 results in history. Tomorrow we could have one in juryo and one in makuuchi.

0-14  // 14-0

Man, Andrasoyama isn't doing too hot and I don't think he's even droning or anything. Tough luck he's having, I'm rooting for him (as I'm not the one facing him).

The 14-0 run in juryo is even more impressive given that it features a whopping 2 tie-breaker wins the whole basho. And the wanker hasn't even scored as many points as me.

I don't know if @Kaito's green mawashi is really a done deal. I think I saw the Panda also doing pretty fine for himself, but if it is, congrats. I guess my confidence in Takerufuji doing just "fine" really didn't pay off.

@Oskanohana Well, I'm not confident at all regarding my senshuraku Quad entry so, as far as I'm concerned, you still have all your chances.

You should win in style, not even post an entry and try to win anyways. :-D

Let me help you pick then. As you have both available (I also do), you may think that the winner from Hidenoumi-Kotoeko is a fairly easy pick. But have you thought that maybe Hidenoumi, who's not competing for anything at all, might be merciful and let clearly injured Kotoeko win just for him to save face a little? Just think about it.
