Heitaikai 0 Posted November 15, 2004 Miyabiyama, he's a fetid bloated carcas and as graceful as a hog on ice. That's not fun anymore! If you dislike someone, okay. But you mustn't insult him.
Ivan Sergeyevich 1 Posted November 15, 2004 Am I correct assuming "fetid, bloated carcass" is a threesome of words that's been floating on the net describing the said rikishi for years now? In every case it really is a bit... extreme.
Onnagumo 4 Posted November 15, 2004 Am I correct assuming "fetid, bloated carcass" is a threesome of words that's been floating on the net describing the said rikishi for years now? In every case it really is a bit... extreme. Yes.... AFAIK, Kintaro used it first in his "Musings". I did like Kintaro's Musings (even got the idea for my cyber-shikona when reading them B-) ) and I do miss them. But IMHO some of the jokes, like this one about Miyabiyama, indeed go a bit too far. Like Heitaikai, to me this one doesn't sound funny anymore.
Kishinoyama 595 Posted November 15, 2004 Takatoriki mainly because of his style of using slaps to the face... I think it is called Harite?? I know every rikishi has their own style but I just did not like his style. I did not like Takanohana more so because of the built-in advantage of not having to face so many of the top rikishi. His actions since retiring have not helped improve my opinion of him. Hey just one persons opinion..... and we know what is said about opinions...... Tokimori 0 Posted November 15, 2004 You know you have at least one! You know the guy who every time he stpes on the dohyo you just want to see him get blasted down and out! I'll start by saying Toki! This guy barely has enough fighting spirit to smother a bug! ( inspite of his corpulence) And he does the same technique every bout with his weaksauce nodowa! (if you wanna call it that) winning just enough against those who are in turn corpulent enough to loose their balance and fall flat on their "breasts" (I dont think ive ever actually seen him thrust anyone out with it) either way, I hope he drops clear outta sight! Definately doesnt belong anywhere near makuuchi! And if you happen to be a Toki fan reading this "Break yourself"! lolp.s. I will say one positive thing about him, I dig the old-school sideburns, but Takanotsuru's got em also and he deserves to sport them much more than his evil twin! Plop! lol I am openly shocked! How anyone could dislike Toki is above me. His grace, the style, the smile on his face when he wins some important match. Sure, he's been lackluster the last bashos, but I remember a time. A time not long ago, when he was seen as the next yokozuna. When his sideburns flew over the dohyo like two flying squirrels. When his technique gave him wins where no man has ever won before... What? Never? Not even in his early career? Well, drat! Whatever, he's still my favourite rikishi! (Whatever above, it is funny...) Yeah, right. The rikishi I dislike the most. That has to be Kyokushuzan, for reasons already specified earlier in this thread. Hairpulling incident just wasn't nice... (Censored)
Zenjimoto 40 Posted November 15, 2004 just joking bout the sponsorships btw max (Whatever above, it is funny...) (Applauding...)
Zenjimoto 40 Posted November 15, 2004 No? Hnyah... how old is this photo? (Whatever above, it is funny...) Ever since I remember he's had a black mawashi on, but then again, not the sort of thing I pay attention to usually (Applauding...)
Guest Vincentoryu Posted November 15, 2004 I really dislike Asanowaka. Always looking for the cheap pull downs. The same can be said about Toki although he did do good sumo in the latter part of 2003. He had that fire in him and was just moving forward. Now
Heitaikai 0 Posted November 16, 2004 Hnyah... how old is this photo? Ever since I remember he's had a black mawashi on, but then again, not the sort of thing I pay attention to usually I must admit that I don't know when the photo was taken. Maybe in 2002, but I'm not sure. Anyway, now you know that Kotomitsuki at least once made an effort to help his fallen opponent up and you don't have to dislike him anymore :-D :-P ;-)
