Bunbukuchagama 422 Posted September 23 Hokuseiho - Atamifuji tomorrow?
Jejima 1,126 Posted September 23 I am surprised..... after today's results, I thought that it had to be Atamifuji vs Hoshoryu for a meaningful, potential yusho deciding bout. Already KK Asanoyama instead? I guess that in terms of rank, Hokuseiho is first in line for an Ozeki - but he isn't the sole leader. Opportunity missed in my opinion.... Jakusotsu 5,294 Posted September 23 Final results: As expected, the two Sekiwake in question weren't need for extra scheduling, so Yokozuna Reonito couldn't be caught. I would have expected the leader to get an ozeki as well, but even by rank, it's not an amazing look to have two KK sekiwake face off and not at least put Atami against one of them. Hell of a competition, though. (I mean us.)
