Wow, I am impressed by the precision of your crystal ball.

Crystal balls, sir. Crystal balls. As for the precision? We shall see..

Weren't they golden?

Well, to be fair, he should have been 4-2.

Disagree--Tobizaru flying through the air on his back as Hoshoryu scratched a fingernail across the dohya is no loss. Without a foot slip against Nishikifuji, he should be 6-0.

A fingernail this ain't.

Yep, no power left. A sad sight.

If he just stayed Kyujo from that arm injury a bit longer, he would be in way better shape I think

Quite funny how nobody even mentions Hokutofuji as we all know how that cookie is going to crumble. (Laughing...)

I see that you're trying to counter jinx him

Kirishima/Midorifuji match ----- another memorable one ----- funny as all get out!  I loved when Midorifuji dramatically KICKED Kirishima's sagari off to the side like a star soccer player.  I'm wondering what they said to each other as the minutes wore on while the hapless gyoji struggled and struggled.  How can they not laugh at the absurdity of their predicament?  It reminded me of the day when Yoshikaze leaped up onto the dohyo to offer his help during a similar situation.  Where was Yoshikaze when we needed him?  Don't they TRAIN gyoji in gyoji school on how to retie a mawashi?

I was surprised to see the flying zabuton.  I guess since Kirishima is currently the highest-ranked rikishi actually fighting, the spectators treated him like an ad-hoc Yokozuna.

It's been almost 30 minutes and I'm still laughing about this bout.  Had to get out my asthma inhaler again.

Hope Kiri just pulls out and has an extra weeks rest. Tbh not even sure why he even came back. Just go Kadoban and get the 8 wins next tourney.

A Ozeki going kyujo twice ? I don´t think that will happen.

Kirishima should 100% sit out the reminder of the tournament. This is such a pointless endeavor at this point.

Hoshoryu looked dialed in today, I feared he was injured aswell yesterday.

Mitakeumi looks finished. Outside of yesterday's emphatic win, he is sluggish and doesn't generate any power whatsoever.

You mean like Takakeisho in may basho 2019?

But it is rare indeed: query

Am I the only one with a bit of sympathy for Inosuke? Dude's had a stroke. Must be so bloody frustrating not being able to do what he used to with ease.
Anyway, if a yobidashi is allowed to come on to the dohyo to do it, he should just order one up straight away next time.

I was unimpressed with Sadogatake's obvious impatience.

Sympathy is one thing but if you have been hampered to the degree of not being able to competently do your job, be pensioned off and let someone else take over. Terunofuji v Wakamotoharu could have been excused as unfamiliarity with an admittedly rare mawashi matta. Having a worse repeat performance indicates at best an inability to learn.

Of course some of the slack lies on the NSK for not having improved its institutional response, but still.

I thoroughly enjoyed the final bout, all things considered (Laughing...)

Had a thought that it would be nice if Takarafuji yushoed... but most likely no.
