Six players left in Chain Gang on day 13, all picked differently, all won - must be a first.

I was coming here to say the same.

So chain gang is coming down to the wire... did some tiebreaker calculations and I can pick freely against anyone except @Oshirokita - to be safe against his picks I have to pick below M3. So I see no reason to hide that I will be selecting Hokutofuji on the hope that he can extend 8 straight against a battered Aoiyama (16-2 overall H2H). Good luck to everyone still in the game.

Yeah, good luck to everyone, great basho. Guess my first yusho won't be this time either, but still satisfied with how it went.

You can pick that high and still win the tiebreakers?

As long as I calculated it correctly, yes. Got a lot of good tiebreaker fuel when picking 3 of chiyonokuni's opponents, especially tsushimanada.

I  had a pretty good basho after tanking for the most part of the last 15 years. I used to be good at this, but lately I reached the lowest low. This basho should be nice for anyone who dared to pick me in metasumo. I think i had double digit wins in at least 7 games, I never had two at once for the last decades.. A yusho. two near-yushos . Also near last place in Norizo, though, but i'm really bad at that one. Back to the keiko-ba.

I did pretty well too considering my prebasho lineups were terrible.

I noticed that, too, and feel happy for you. With two Superbanzuke games missing, you might be in for jun-yusho in the Masters Series.

well, I got the salary cap yusho so that's great, everything else was such a mix of ups and downs, mostly down

Really enjoyed this Basho! Strange mix of ups and downs for me too. At some point I was topping The Juryo Game, Salary Cap and RotoSumo - too good to be true! Happy about Juryo, will have to improve on daily games next time.

For me the biggest impression (aside from a crazy ride in chaingang) was that it's much more difficult for me to play ISP without sir Kintamayama's youtube channel.

You are aware that he has created another one right? :-)

Thank you very much for the good news. Anyway, what I meant is that it was a unique treasury of sumo of the last decade.
