I follow him on Twitter. Mostly pics of him having a good time out in nature or in the gym. Can't wait to see the pics he posts from this! He is so good at keeping secrets! Kise's Twitter had some smazing pictures, the clips of the celebratory karaoke were the best.

The above picture is obviously a photo collage. Based on the twitter photos he may have lost like a third of the weight which is still far from normal. But good to see him apperantly not having seriuos health issues which was well within the realm of possibility.

Speaking of kanreki dohyo-iri, do we have any news of Hokutoumi/ Hakkaku's plans? He turns 60 this year.

Likewise, I am a fan. His commitment to weight loss is inspirational. When  first got into sumo as was fascinated by him. His extreme bulk and weight made him a curiosity that drew me to the sport. Maybe weird, I know, but I’d never seen anything comparable

As some of you mentioned here and through DMs it appears this is NOT Orora and simply his head pasted onto Asashifuji. Unfortunately we have been defrauded by this photo graph passed on to me from a certain Taiwanese baseball correspondent.

I guess the next thing you’ll tell me is that Orora didn’t actually amass 22 yusho.

Those do occur. I'm sure many in this forum will know better than I do, but I've watched videos of former lower ranked rikishi doing it in amateur events.
