    • He won't win any bouts in 2023!
      0
  3. 3. Which of the following rikishi will Oho win MORE bouts than in total (i.e out of 90 - not the direct head-to-heads) in 2023. So if you think Oho will win 48 bouts (as he did in 2022), and rikishi A will win 42, vote 'yes'. You can vote as many times as you like.

I believe (please correct me if I am wrong), that Oho (born on St Valentine's Day, 2000) was the very first rikishi born after January 1st, 2000 to become a sekitori.

After a fairly decent 2022, he will begin 2023 in the upper half of the Makunouchi banzuke.

How will he do in 2023?

A new 83rd kimarite will be born in light of Oho and Hokuseiho’s sumo: wakaranai.

Where, even upon replay, nobody is quite sure how they won the bout.

M1-M3 - I can't see him getting beyond that yet, though the potential is there

Not quite his year, I think....  But he'll end up in the middle of the division for the start of 2024.

We generally think that Oho will be ranked in the lower-joi-jin, or just outside - so a little progress from his current rank.

About half of us think that he will defeat one of the top two sanyaku ranks at some stage this year, with pretty much another half of us thinking that he will top with a lower sanyaku victory.

We think that he will have a better year, win-wise, than Ura, Endo, Akua, Enho, Roga, Shodai and Onosho - so better than half-on-the-list of sekitori with short shikonas.

Well, at least he didn't drop out of the division as I was sure he would do after day 12... :-S
