FIFA World Cup 2022 offical fantasy

Recommended Posts

To those interested, just to let you know that in few days (maybe next week) the official FIFA site will probably launch its fantasy game for the world cup. It will be the same kind as the Euro fantasy we had last year.

I'll post the links when the time comes but in the meantime prepare yourself mentally !
I hope we'll gather at least as many players in our private 'Sumo fans league" as last time with the Euro.

So the fantasy has finally been launched.

Here is the link to the fantasy game on the FIFA site :

https://play.fifa.com/fantasy-classic/

Here below are the rules in case you're not familiar with fantasy games already:

https://play.fifa.com/fantasy-classic/help/guidelines

And here is the link to join the private league "Sumo Fans":

Now that all the pre basho obligations have been fulfilled let's bump this.
Just a week to go before the start of the world cup.
It only takes a minute to create your team (with automaric mode) and you can make all the changes you wish later.
I hope you'll join our private league, I need competition ! :-D

But will it be worth watching?

As far as I'm concerned, keeping aside all the political/social etc matters, any world event in sports is worth watching. But I'm a "sport freak"...

I'm a football freak since more than 50 years, but I'm not at all interested in this corrupt Qatar event.

I'm glad the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg (5th league) has three more weeks of football to offer and I can watch Stuttgarter Kickers live in the stadium on their way back to the Regionalliga. Here you can still find the fair-mindedness of this sport which got lost in all top leagues where most clubs just have an army of mercenaries. You may call me a romantic.

Fair enough, very respectable opinion and I don't disagree. That said, at least for me, we play this game just trying to have some fun. If we start to mention everything that's going wrong on our planet, in all sectors of life, it would be en endless subject.

As a side note, you are participating to Bench World Cup, aren't you? ;-)

One last bump less than 48 hours before the start of the tournament. It would be nice to get double digit players (currently 8).
I'm sure some of you just wait till the last minute and will join. :-)

We have a football (soccer) team (11 players) participating to this game; nice. Could we manage to have a rugby team before 03:00 PM UTC time tomorrow? That would be great!

(Laughing...) I don't even know the difference, I completely suck at Rugby! Pick one! I just know there are fifteen players per team on the field. ;-)

I learnt something today. To be honest, back in the days, the only team I used to like was the All Blacks and I was impressed in some games by the Australian team. That said, I'm not a big fan of rugby.

R.I.P. Jonah Lomu, he was/is Rugby's GOAT.

Definitely a legend of his sport who you couldn't dislike. I also saw a documentary about him, he seemed to be a great guy.

Colors are hypnotizing, huh? That's how I plan to attract people. Like a bait for fishes...  :-P
