Seiyashi 3,459 Posted November 24, 2022 It still comes down to a tiebreak, doesn't it? If all parties concerned end at 10-5?

Yeah, yeah, right of course. I really need a reboot for my befuddled brain, thinking day 14 was over already.
Sakura 1,257 Posted November 24, 2022 Maybe the smart play is to do something different from @Sumo Spiffy. I think it'll be Hoshoryu, but to keep the game interesting. 14. Abi

Sumo Spiffy 247 Posted November 24, 2022 Since everyone with a shot at the lead has guessed, I'm gonna just say that I think: Takayasu gets Abi. If Kiri was 7-5, and especially if Hoshoryu had won to go 11-1 (and push Kiri out of any theoretical contending), Kiri would get Wakamotoharu. Wakamotoharu's most likely opponent seems to be Ryuden, which sucks, because I picked that as a match that wouldn't happen in Game 21. With three 10-2s and three 9-3s, pairing them all up together is definitely possible. If they do so, breaking up Kiri and Hoshoryu, I concur with Nishikifuji as the next most likely option. But I think Kagayaki gets either Nishikifuji or Wakatakakage.

Jakusotsu 4,906 Posted November 25, 2022 After two days of lulling us, the evil Kyokai shows that they still know how to throw curved balls. And *now* it really is a matter of Spiffy and Sakura. Seiyashi 3,459 Posted November 25, 2022 Are they trying to get Kiribayama force-promoted to sekiwake by feeding him cans? Looking at the W/L matrix I don't even have confidence that they're going to do the kore yori sanyaku any more, so: Day 15: Takarafuji

Sumo Spiffy 247 Posted November 25, 2022 15. Wakamotoharu I'm pretty sure getting this right (not this specific pick, any pick) requires predicting no fewer than four specific fights correctly—Wakatakakage/Hoku, Kiri/Onosho, Takayasu/Kagayaki, and Nishikifuji/Hiradoumi. Sakura 1,257 Posted November 25, 2022 The real reason that they gave him Onosho is so that I can have another intra-team bout in Bench Sumo. 15. Kagayaki
