Group C Round 1 - Day 1 :

  Kotononami H     Krisachiyama A
1. Argentina R   - England N
2. England N   - Portugal N
3. Belgium N   - Brazil C
4. Ecuador N W - Croatia N

9. Tunisia N   - Australia N
10. Serbia N   - Morocco N
11. Iran C     Saudi Arabia R

A good start for Kotononami with a win on line 4. More to say after day 2.

  Nekonishiki H     Andrasoyama A
1. Belgium N   - Denmark N
2. Germany N   - Brazil N
3. France N   - Belgium N

Group E Round 1 - Day 1:

  Oyama H     Ganzohnesushi A
1. Brazil N   - France N
2. Belgium N   - Spain N
3. Denmark N   - Denmark N
4. Germany R   - Portugal C
5. Wales N   - Switzerland N
6. Mexico N     Mexico N
7. Senegal N     Wales N
8. Qatar C L - Japan R
9. Ghana N   - Ghana N
10. Australia N   - Costa Rica N
11. Costa Rica N     Australia N

Big waste here already. Three lines won't count as we have same teams at the same place. Denmark (3), Mexico (6) and Ghana (9) what where the odds?
Oyama also starts with a loss as Qatar couldn't do anything today vs Ecuador.

  Finngall H     Jakusotsu A
1. France N   - Spain N
2. Belgium N   - France C
3. Spain R   - Denmark N
4. Switzerland N   - Netherlands N
5. Croatia N   - Mexico N
6. Wales N     Wales N
7. Poland N     Cameroon N
8. Qatar N L - Senegal N
9. Ghana N   - Tunisia N
10. Australia C   - Canada N
11. Iran N     Costa Rica R

Wales was also wasted here as placed by both players at the same line 6.
Same comment for Finngall as for Oyama above.

I was alerted by Rijicho Jejima about Rule 9. Droning rules, which I had forgotten about, especially for droning for the very 1st match.

As Akishiki is droning, his lineup has to start with 1. the (R) team, 2. the (C) team and then all the rest in diminishing ranking.

I will fix the lineup tomorrow, as I have the right to celebrate my Birthday today! Sorry for any inconveniences!

The lineup of Akishiki for Round 1 was updated considering  the Droning Rules.

Group C Round 1 - Day 2 :

  Kotononami H     Krisachiyama A
1. Argentina R   - England N W
2. England N W - Portugal N
3. Belgium N   - Brazil C
4. Ecuador N W - Croatia N
5. Uruguay N   - Wales N D
6. Mexico N     Poland N
7. Ghana N     USA N D
8. South Korea N   - South Korea N
9. Tunisia N   - Australia N
10. Serbia N   - Morocco N
11. Iran C L   Saudi Arabia R

Despite 2 nice wins for a start, Kotononami is already in great danger. Argentina must absolutely win tomorrow otherwise his chain will be broken right from the start and he will score nothing. In addition he will surely lose as Krisachiyama will socre at least one goal thanks to England. Therefore Kotononami should start right away his prayers to Leo and his gang to do the right thing while Krisachiyama will be seating cumfortably in his couch and see what happens.

  Nekonishiki H     Andrasoyama A
1. Belgium N   - Denmark N
2. Germany N   - Brazil N
3. France N   - Belgium N
4. Croatia N   - Spain N
5. Ecuador N W - Poland R
6. Cameroon N     Wales N D
7. Ghana N     Usa C D
8. Mexico R   - Camerron N
9. Serbia C   - Ghana N
10. Iran N L - Australia N
11. Tunisia N     Costa Rica N

Iran seems to be low enough in Nekonishiki's chain not to be a big problem for the moment. The draw between Wales and the USA isn't much of a help for Andrasoyama.
Much more action expected tomorrow with teams such as Denmark and France will play their first game.
Also Mexico that is Nekonishiki's (R) team and Poland that is Andrasoyama's! In addition, if Poland doesn't win, Andrasoyama's chain will broken at line 5. As you can see Mexico-Poland will be a crucial game in this H2H.

It was not too much to report yesterday, but there is already something today.
Players didn't have much trust in Ecuador, well, that win may still be useful later.
Sorry, not much comments tonight, but feel free to post your own ones, opinions and calculations.
I don't know how could I normally paste my tables, they look so poor here so I rather post pictures.

 Group A - Round 1 standings

Athenayama vs Kimyama

Kimyama’s ® team has won, the question is if the chain will last until then.
Athenayama has the losing teams in the end of the line-up, well, Qatar ® is only in Slot #8, so anything can happen.

Pitinosato vs Chijanofuji

Chijanofuji's perfect placing of his (R) team, it means at least one goal in Slot #1

Group_A_Round_1_1.jpg

 Group D - Round 1 standings

Asapedroryu vs Nantonoyama

Slot #4 is already decided, a win for both but no goal here.
Both players secured an important win in the first slots.

Lordshamrockyama vs Kurosaki

Kurosaki’s four teams had already matched, looks not bad so far.
Lordshamrockyama would probably be happier with a reverse order in #8-#9.

BUT absolutely nothing has been decided yet, I guess tomorrow already will be much more exciting.

Group E Round 1 - Day 2:

  Oyama H     Ganzohnesushi A
1. Brazil N   - France N
2. Belgium N   - Spain N
3. Denmark N   - Denmark N
4. Germany R   - Portugal C
5. Wales N D - Switzerland N
6. Mexico N     Mexico N
7. Senegal N L   Wales N D
8. Qatar C L - Japan R
9. Ghana N   - Ghana N
10. Australia N   - Costa Rica N
11. Costa Rica N     Australia N

Senegal lost and Wales had a draw. Still no "W' on Oyama's side. France enters tomorrow for Ganzohnesushi in line 1. A good start?

  Finngall H     Jakusotsu A
1. France N   - Spain N
2. Belgium N   - France C
3. Spain R   - Denmark N
4. Switzerland N   - Netherlands N W
5. Croatia N   - Mexico N
6. Wales N     Wales N
7. Poland N     Cameroon N
8. Qatar N L - Senegal N L
9. Ghana N   - Tunisia N
10. Australia C   - Canada N
11. Iran N L   Costa Rica R

No action today here as Wales is removed from the chain for both players. Also, much more action expected tomorrow with France, Denmark, Mexico, Poland.... entering the game!

Group C Round 1 - Day 3 :

Normally I would have waited till the end of the day to report but as we just saw such a big upset that an immediate update is deserved.
So... Argentina lost and so did Kotononami! The loss of his (R) team right at the first line was a disaster.
Hence Krisachiyama scores a goal and breaks Kotononami's chain. Currently 1-0. All that remains to be known is the final score.
Krisachiyama also has the possibility to score at least 2 other goals as his (R) team Saoudi Arabia won.
However that is on line 11 and Kotononami still has the possibility to break Krisachiyama's chain before.
Mexico-Poland will be another important game in this duel.

More to comment after all games of the day have ended.

  Kotononami H     Krisachiyama A     Goal H Kotononami Chain H   Goal A Krisachiyama Chain A
1. Argentina R L - England N W     0 x - 1 1
2. England N W - Portugal N       0   -   1
3. Belgium N   - Brazil C       0   -   1
4. Ecuador N W - Croatia N       0   -   1
5. Uruguay N   - Wales N D     0   -   1
6. Mexico N     Poland N

See you for the round 2 hahaa , bravo to the Saudia team and Mr Hervé Renard :)

Tough start Tibozuka, few could predict that. I hope you'll bounce back in round 2 !
Time for "damage control" now as the qualification could be decided with goal difference...

Round 1 Comments:

Both matches in Group B have their Winners already thanks to the magnificent start of England!

Jejima and his Wife Fujiko are both Winners. We have to wait till the end of Round 1 to see what the final scores will be.

Bad Luck for Tibozuka and Akishiki. But there are 2 more rounds to go! Wish you better Luck then!

Group C Round 1 - Day 3 :

I said the most important already regarding Kotononami's loss in a previous post. Goal is now to limit the damage.

  Kotononami H     Krisachiyama A     Goal H Kotononami Chain H   Goal A Krisachiyama Chain A
1. Argentina R L - England N W     0 x - 1 1
2. England N W - Portugal N       0   -   1
3. Belgium N   - Brazil C       0   -   1
4. Ecuador N W - Croatia N       0   -   1
5. Uruguay N   - Wales N D     0   -   1
6. Mexico N D   Poland N D
7. Ghana N     USA N D
8. South Korea N   - South Korea N       0   -   1
9. Tunisia N D - Australia N L     0   -   1 x
10. Serbia N   - Morocco N       0   -   1
11. Iran C L   Saudi Arabia R W     0   - 2 3

Nekonishiki has the upper hand as he succeeded to break Andrasoyama's chain at line  with a potential goal to score. Denmark's draw at line 1 for the latter isn't helping. More to comment tomorrow.

Group E Round 1 - Day 3:

Ganzohnesushi feels good with a win by France at line 1. It puts Oyama in position to pray for Brazil to get a good result. Apart from that we'll know more tomorrow.

France is good for both players here. Finngall has them at line 1 but Jakusotsu has them at line 2 also as his (C) team. Many things could depend on Belgium's and Spain's results tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Group A - Round 1 standings

The tables become more and more colorful :-)

Something is not OK with the colors of the second tables, hopefully I can correct it. But the results are OK there, too

Athenayama vs Kimyama

With Tunisia’s draw Match 10 has been decided, and Kimyama has scored 2 goals, but it is in theory yet, since he has to keep his chain.

Pitinosato vs Chijanofuji

Chijanofuji stands very good, with the win of his ® team and France in Slot #2

Group_A_Round_1_2.jpg

Group D - Round 1 standings

Asapedroryu vs Nantonoyama

The big upset today caused Asapedroryu a bitter surprise. The newest fan of Serbia?
And it doesn’t continue well for him. Nantonoyama has already a possible goal in #2.

Lordshamrockyama vs Kurosaki

Not bad so far, anything can happen, the losses are in the second half of the table yet

Wow.

Edit:

I have stopped second guessing my youngest son, AKA Kaba.

When he made his picks for the first round, I tried to persuade him not to put Japan third in his line-up, but he was adamant...

Breaking news in Group F!

jomojo's loss by Argentina in slot 1 nearly did him in if it wasn't for Baku's R-team drawing, preserving both chains by special rules. And then it's the pinnacle of irony that it's Germany's loss for English boy Baku against his own uncle jomojo's win by England which sealed the deal. jomojo wins by at least 1:0, and Baku needs a lot of consolation from daddy Jejima.

jomojo 1:0 Baku

But Regarding KABA - Germany's loss made him a huge favor because made him a Winner!

So, KABA is the Winner of Round 1 at least 1:0 (We have to wait for the final score).

KUMA KOMA, unfortunately had Germany at Spot #1, he didn't score a goal and his chain was broken at Spot. #1.

Congrats to the Youngster!
