BWC8  Match 9

Kimyama:  1. Brazil, D 2. Portugal L, 3. Argentina (S1) D
Comment: Saint-Cloud beret basque!

Kotononami:  1. Argentina (R), D 2. Brazil (S2), D 3. France (S1) W, 4. England L                                                                                                                                 Comment: I support my (R) team all the way!

In Normal time the score is 0:0, although Kotononami's (R) team lost at spot #1 and his chain was broken, Kimyama had Portugal at spot #2 who lost and the Game was over at line 2.

So, we are going to Penalty kicks:

1st penalty, Kimyama has Brazil and misses ! Kotononami has also Argentina and scores! 0-1
2nd penalty, Kimyama has England and misses! Kotononami has France and scores! 0-2
3rd penalty, Kimyama has Spain and misses! Kotononami has Brazil and misses! 0-2
4th penalty, Kimyama has Portugal and misses! Kotononami doesn't need more penalties! 0-2

The Winner of this match is Kotononami (pen) 2-0!

After a discussion with BWC Rijicho Jejima, who suggested that no penalties were needed for declaring the Winner of this match, I went back and did the Extra Time more carefully, so the official decision is:

1.) Kotononami is still Winner of this match.

2.) He wins 1:0 in Extra Time.

Thanks, Jejima-zeki for pointing to me this option, which gives more accurate score!

OK, a bit, but I don't push it to the extreme . If my chains won't be broken after the first 3, I would be really glad :-P

Oyama : 1. Argentina (S1) (1st) , 2. Argentina (S1) (2nd), 3. Argentina (S1) (ET)

Who's next? Whining Messi would be perfect. As much as I like Argentina and the people living there, I really dislike the Argentinian behaviour on the pitch, especially when they lose. Go Croatia, beat those unfair, insidious and malicious Gauchos.

...but you have to admit: they play like champions.

Both France or Morocco will have a hard time in the finals.

Bench World Saucer Semifinals:
(Loser is on the plane home. Winner progresses to the Saucer Finals).

BWS4  Match 1 day 1:

Line 1 is removed, so no one will benefit the 2-0 for Argentina in the 1st period.
Pitinosato has a potential goal at line 3 and maybe more later. The only way for Oyama to win this would be France to lose the 1st half tomorrow. If this doesn't happen he'd need a miracle with draws everywhere and then expect the penalty shootout.

Pitinosato     Goal H Chain H   Goal A Chain A   Oyama
1. Argentina (S1) (1st)   -     -       Argentina (S1) (1st)

Bench World Plate Semifinals:

(Loser is on the plane home. Winner progresses to the Plate Finals).

BWP4  Match 6 day 1:

Line 1 is removed here also. Droning andonishiki benefits from having Argentina (potential goal at line 5) in his line up while Krisachiyama suffers from having Croatia. If France goes well tomorrow, andonishiki has the upper hand to win this game.

Halftime report

With nobody having Croatia in their squad or Argentina as their R-team, no goals were to be seen after the first match.

BWB4  Match 3

The best Kuma Koma can hope for is extra time, and he would have an extra hard time there.

Morocco (ET) :

BWC4  Match 8

It's like Takayasu vs. Ichinojo - no movement yet, but I daresay it will be decided in the first slot.

Chijanofuji 0:0 jomojo
(Netherlands) : (Morocco)

Actually this extra hard time would turn into futile, because a win by Lordshamrockyama can't be avoided, all things considered.

As best as I can count, I need Morocco to win the first half, not win the second half, and not win extra time for the match to go to penalties.

Refioji Nekonishiki – Semifinals – Result

Bowl Semifinals - Match 4

Nantonoyama 0-2 Finngall
Finngall did a good job, only winners in the first three slots. One goal from them, though, but another one in Slot #5. Finngall keeps the fight for the Bowl!

Cup Semifinals - Match 7

Kotononami 3-2 Yarimotsu
Kotononami had two teams only, Yarimotsu takes the advantage, but it was still not enough. Kotononami had his (R) team winning and goes for the Cup!

If Morocco had won*, we would have had the same representatives in the BWC final as on the real dohyo - has that ever happened before?

(*edit: if they had won in a way that still would have made Kotononami win his match, that is)

Bench World Saucer Semifinals:
(Loser is on the plane home. Winner progresses to the Saucer Finals).

BWS4  Match 1 final result:

Oyama unfortunately didn't have enough resources to resist. Pitinosato benefited from having the 2 future finalists of the World Cup and achieves an easy win to advance to the final ! What? Yes, the saucer final.... but still !

BWP4  Match 6 final result:

OK people I got it, I'll drone next competition! Big score here. Despite more teams and against an "absent" opponent Krisachiyama couldn't make it. The main reason? The spoiler teams stopped spoiling. Goals in the first half, goals in the second half, forwards had the upper hand over the defensors and we have a final 1-3 for andonishiki who is going for the Plate!.
