Group E Round 2 - Day 1 :

Between Ganzohnesushi and Jakusotsu Mexico at line 10 is removed and their result won't count.
Strong start for Jakusotsu who had the brillant idea to place Senegal at line. What's following is not so good. Here also it's way too early to assume something.

Between Finngall and Oyama Belgium at line 1 is removed and their result won't count (what a waste). Here also a potential goal exists at line 9 but.... you know the rest, I said it already previously.

Group A - Round 2 standings

Athenayama vs Pitinosato

Two slots have been decided, #11 is not interesting, since both player’s chain will break far before reaching it.

Chijanofuji vs Kimyama

Too early to say anything, Chijanofuji has more losing teams so far

Group_A_Round_2_2.jpg

Group D - Round 2 standings

Nantonoyama vs Kurosaki

Not much changes since yesterday. Kurosaki scores 2 goals in Slot #10, but it’s so far to reach them.

Lordshamrockyama 1 Asapedroryu 0

This match is already over! With loss of Wales Asapedroryu’s chain is broken in #3. Lordshamrockyama’s in Slot #2, but he has already scored a goal.

Group C Round 2 - Day 2 :

Ma,y things to report. Lines are broken but pretty far on the list. At line 9 for Andrasoyama and at line 10 for Krisachiyama. Probaly the decision will be made before then though.
On the scoring side, Andrasoyama thanks to Poland (R) has potentially 2 goals at line 3. Krisachiyama also thanks to Poland has potentially 1 goal at line 9.
Let's see what tomorrow will bring.

  Andrasoyama     Krisachiyama     Goal H Andrasoyama Chain H   Goal A Krisachiyama Chain A
1. Belgium   - Portugal       0   -   0
2. Brazil   - Brazil ©       0   -   0
3. Poland ® W - England D   2 2   -   0
4. Wales L - Croatia       2   -   0
5. Spain   - Saudi Arabia ® L     2   -   0
6. Australia W - South Korea       2   -   0
7. Ghana   - USA D     2   -   0
8. Denmark L - Poland W     2 x - 1 1
9. USA © D - Wales L     2   -   1 z
10. Cameroon   - Morocco       2   -   1
11. Costa Rica   - Australia W     2   -   1

The win of France for Nekonishiki, offering a potential goal, combined with the loss of Tunisia for Kotononami broke the chain of the latter at line 3. That means our French friend has to win in the first 2 lines. For that Belgium has to lose tomorrow or at least not to win and Croatia must lose. If Croatia make a draw Kotononami will score 2 goals but our Hungarian friend will keep the possibility to be in the game.
Interesting !

  Kotononami     Nekonishiki     Goal H Kotononami Chain H   Goal A Nekonishiki Chain A
1. England D - Belgium       0   -   0

Group E Round 2 - Day 2 :

Potential goals for Ganzohnesushi at lines 2 and 5 where Jakusotsu's chain breaks. That said the latter is strong at lines 1 and 3 but weaker at line 4. Portugal, Spain and Ghana games will be crucial but we'll have to wait for day 4.

  Ganzohnesushi     Jakusotsu     Goal H Ganzohnesushi Chain H   Goal A Jakusotsu Chain A
1. Portugal ©   - Senegal W     0   -   0

10. Mexico   - Mexico       2   -   0
11. Switzerland   - Costa Rica ®       2   -   0

Chains are broken at line 7 for Oayama (with potential goal for Finngall) and line 8 for Finngall. Finngall also feels strong with the wins of France at line 2 and Poland at line 3. And the loss of Wales at line 4 makes things darker for Oyama. It doesn't look very good for him. A prayer maybe?

1. Belgium   - Belgium       0   -   0

Group C Round 2 - Day 3 :

First of all let me correct something I wrote in my previous report that was wrong. Our esteemed @Nekonishiki Banji pointed  it out and I thank him for that.
There was no potential goal for Krisachiyama at line 9 as his chain will break at line 5 anyway due to the loss oh His 'R) team Saudi Arabia.
What can we say after today's results?  Chain breaks at line 4 for Andrasoyama as Croatia won.
At this moment we have a potential 2-1 score for Andrasoyama missing Brazil and Portugal.
So what could happen tomorrow?
Portugal win or draw : Andrasoyama's chain breaks at line 1 and Krisachiyama wins. Final score to be seen.
Portugal loss :  We have to check Brazil. Just as reminder, as it is the (C) team for Krisachiyama and (N) team for Androsoyama the line is not removed.
                           Brazil win : Andrasoyama wins, Final score 2-1.
                           Brazil loss : Andrasoyama wins. Final score 2-0
                           Brazil draw : Krisachiyama scores 1 goal. Final score 2-2.

  Andrasoyama     Krisachiyama     Goal H Andrasoyama Chain H   Goal A Krisachiyama Chain A
1. Belgium L - Portugal       0   -   0
2. Brazil   - Brazil ©       0   -   0

4. Wales L - Croatia W     2 x - 1 1
5. Spain D - Saudi Arabia ® L     2   -   1 z
6. Australia W - South Korea       2   -   1
7. Ghana   - USA D     2   -   1
8. Denmark L - Poland W     2   -   1
9. USA © D - Wales L     2   -   1
10. Cameroon   - Morocco W     2   -   1
11. Costa Rica W - Australia W     2   -   1

Tough day for Nekonishiki. Belgium loss at line 1 ends it all. His chain breaks there and Kotononami wins 1-0 thanks to his (R) team Argentina at line 2.

Group E Round 2 - Day 3 :

If Portugal lose here tomorrow, Jakusotsu wins 1-0 as Ganzohnesushi will see his chain break at line 1.
If Portugal win, Ganzohnesushi will win at least 2-1. Final score to be seen.
If Portugal draw : Score will be 2-2 waiting for Ghana.

                             If Ghana win : Final score 3-2 for Ganzohnesushi.
                             If Ghana draw or loss : Final score will remain 2-2.

10. Mexico   - Mexico       2   -   1
11. Switzerland   - Costa Rica ® W     2   -   1

Things are much more simple here as Finngall has already won ! Win for Croatia did it. 1-0 at line 4 and chain broken for Oyama. Why is it over? Belgium at line 1 is removed and Finngall has already wins at line 2 and 3 so Oyama cannot break that chain. Final score to be seen depending on Brazil and Ghana.

  Finngall     Oyama     Goal H Finngall Chain H   Goal A Oyama Chain A
1. Belgium   - Belgium       0   -   0

It all came down to Brazil coming through for Oshirokita before all chains were broken, taking the lead in Group F.

Group G - Round 2 results

Yarimotsu's Brazil neutralized Achiyama's only chance to score, but he failed to do so as well, yielding the most boring of all results.

Achiyama             0:0     Yarimotsu
(Cameroon)                   (Serbia)

A victorious R-team in slot one was all Jarayama needed for disposing a much less confident andonishiki, handing the group lead to Yarimotsu in the act.

And the second round is over already, too. Let’s see the results.

 Group A - Round 2 ending

Group_A_Round2_Table.jpg

Athenayama 1 Pitinosato 1

Athenayama scores one goal with Croatia, Pitinosato one with Senegal. Both chains are broken quite early, so the players must be satisfied with a draw.

Chijanofuji 1 Kimyama 4

Chijanofuji’s chain has broken in #3, while Kimyama’s hasn’t at all, so Kimyama was able to easily collect the goals

Group_A_Round_2_4.jpg

 Group D - Round 2 ending

Group_D_Round2_Table.jpg

Nantonoyama vs Kurosaki

Very similar situation to Group A’s match #2, Nantonoyama’s chain is broken in Slot #4, this way Kurosaki scored 5 goals (his R team was at good place)

Lordshamrockyama 1 Asapedroryu 0

A short match, bringing a goal for Lordshamrockyama.

Just realised that I am meant to announce the rules for deciding the group rankings.

This is based on the real rules for this tournament, which are as follows (nicked from Wikipedia).

Tie-breaking criteria for group play
The ranking of teams in the group stage is determined as follows:[190]
  1. Points obtained in all group matches:
    • Win: 3 points;
    • Draw: 1 point;
    • Loss: 0 points;
  2. Goal difference in all group matches;
  3. Number of goals scored in all group matches;
  4. Points obtained in the matches played between the teams in question;
  5. Goal difference in the matches played between the teams in question;
  6. Number of goals scored in the matches played between the teams in question;
  7. Fair play points in all group matches (only one deduction can be applied to a player in a single match):
    • Yellow card: −1 point;
    • Indirect red card (second yellow card): −3 points;
    • Direct red card: −4 points;
    • Yellow card and direct red card: −5 points;
  8. Drawing of lots.

@Athenayama With all due respect, honestly, you're doing an excellent job, but my optic nerves are twisting into a knot anytime I try to figure out what's going on in your tables. :-S

Please tell me more precisely what bothers you and I'll try to correct it.

First and foremost (and perhaps that's only me) having three separate sections each with their own left and right side that don't all reflect the "real" left and right side of the match makes me dizzy.

Ok, I'll see what I can do for round 3.
