Three changes to the top ten ranks after this basho. Heriokuno drops out after a year-long stint in green, along with Netsuzakura after three basho and Susanoo after two. Replacing them are two returnees and one newcomer. Pandaazuma is back in the top ten after a year out, while Kyoju is back after a single basho. The newcomer is Supizakage, the 119th player to reach the top ten ranks.

Runner-up Sumo Spiffy equalled the records for most Correct Guesses, Bullseyes and Points by a debutant, set in 2021 Haru by Cheesofuji.

Sakura is the fifth player to spend 20 consecutive basho in the top ten ranks.
