GTB invite- Haru 2022- RESULTS!! - 164 entries (26 newbies)

Due to the virus and to my depression, laziness, seniority, social distancing and flatulence, there will be no special GTB invite sketch this time, as the rikishi still can't go for the cake, oh. 

This is a formal invitation to play the "Guess the Banzuke" game!! 24 years, 143 bashos. Please play.

Game rules: Guess the Banzuke. Simple. You get two points for a bulls-eye and one point for just getting the rank right. You get no points for thinking everything will be fine.. Tiebreakers - Most total guesses, then we check the banzuke backwards - getting the lower half right will be important.  The most correct guesses in the last ten places will win the tiebreaker. If still tied, we go up a ranking at a time like a penalty shootout. If still tied, I will personally send someone to untie you. It's up to you to check if you are on the list of entries. It's going to be your fault if you don't notice that your entry went missing in the Internet void. No late entries will be expected or accepted. Those are the rules, and the rules will never be changed. Just like the dohyo will never be lowered.

Here's a general hint: if working from the top isn't getting you anywhere, try working from the bottom.

I pity anyone having this banzuke for their first GTB, it's a nightmare.

I'm still mulling over my entry and probably will for a while yet, almost every position has multiple possibilities and they're all unfair to someone in someway. And there's always that possibility they decide to have 3 komusubi or do something else unexpected...

Spotting 6 mistakes in my own entry after going through this entry again two days later does NOT predict very good result...I guess there's no use crying over spilt milk, though how exactly could I have made those mistakes goes beyond me. Seems like starting from bottom of banzuke with your entry only takes you so far (if you're a moron like me at least)

You still have time to make a new entry. Only your last entry counts.

I'm 100% sure we can spot more than 6 mistakes by the Kyokai Banzuke Committee immediately after they have announced the Haru'22 Banzuke.

To be honest, it's been over 10 years that I'm watching every single basho, and yet when it comes to banzuke logic, I barely know anything beyond "A J14 8-7 is probably not making it to makuuchi".

No, it's just me being very proud that this difficult game is being played by so many people. God knows it's been around for a while and he also knows it's not easy and quite time-consuming to enter. And also, I'm, a pain, yes.

well I hope my entry this time around is much more sophisticated than my previous attempt. I started following from day 5 of Haru last year so with a year's worth of understanding gained hopefully that's enough to say I understand sumo ranks.

Entry in. It seemed fairly straightforward, albeit with some ridiculously good banzuke luck for some MKs. However, I thought last basho's banzuke was super easy in a logical pattern and ended up with an MK, so what do I know?

I was tempted to add an extra sanyaku spot, but in the end gave up on that idea since the banzuke luck would have been perversely worse.

I attempted to enter the other day but after pressing submit I reached the database's generic error page (despite the database itself working fine at the time). My name appeared on the list of entries but was later removed, so I assume it didn't go through. Just tried it again and got the same outcome, my name again on the entry list - can @Kintamayama or @Doitsuyama please check and tell me if I am in or not?
