And now, with no further ado, let's play! HOW TO PLAY GAME 21 Shortly after the Banzuke is published, 21 potential bouts are selected by the admins. You just have to decide which bouts will or will not take place and, if they will, who you think will be the winners. Each correct pick will earn you one point. If a Rikishi is listed in one of the potential bouts but never appears on the Torikumi for the 15 days of the Basho, the bout will be counted as correct for all the players. If two or more entrants end up with the same number of correct picks, the two following tiebreaker rules will apply: TB1: entrants will earn TB points for their ability to spot winning outsiders (i.e. the fewer players pick up a Rikishi the more points you score) and the entrant with most TB points will be the winner. TB2: if the first tiebreaker does not suffice to separate them, the entrant with the earliest submission time will be declared the winner. The deadline to play is the Friday before Shonichi at 11 AM (JST), 2 AM (UTC) If you want to play, simply click the link below. it will take you to a multiple-choice form that will offer you three choices for each bout: A if you think the first Rikishi will win B if you think the second Rikishi will win X if you think the bout will not take place In addition to your picks and your Shikona, the form will ask for a valid email address. The reason for this request is (a) to allow the system to send you a copy of your picks and (b) to allow you to update your choices until the deadline by clicking the “Edit Response'' button that is in the email. Besides, after you have submitted your choices, you will have access to global selection statistics (not individual player’s picks). Now we use a different calculation pattern to determine the players whose votes differ the most or the least from those of the other players.But you can see: that's the same thing, only with different numerical values. This time Asojima has the largest deviations with 269 (mainly because of his 4 X picks), but Athenayama the fewest with 163. Thanks to Tameiki for the qualified recording of the votes. I'm a little sad that we again have only 23 participants. I think it will be a long time before we can recognize the favorites. Because of Tochinoshins absence on day 2 we have gotten a second game 21 bout for day 2. Three game 21 bouts will be on day 3, on day 4 only one and on day 5 is no game 21 bout. One bout on day 6 and no on day 7.Again three game 21 bouts will be on day 8,on day 9 again only one and on day 10 and 11 once more none. Two game 21 bouts will be on day 12 and no bout on day 13! The highest possible total this time is 376, and the lowest is 159. @Athenayama's picks coincide with the most common choice, except for one bout. If your votes agree well with those of the other players, a win like this will be close. If you bet very differently than the other players, with luck you will even win with a large margin. Kellyama leads still, but no more as sole leader.Shimodahito has now the same 8 points, but a little worse tiebreaker value. And what a surprise for me: I am now among the five 7 point pursuers! I think it will be a long time before we can recognize the favorites. Because of Tochinoshins absence on day 2 we have gotten a second game 21 bout for day 2. Three game 21 bouts will be on day 3,on day 4 only one and on day 5 is no game 21 bout. One bout on day 6 and no on day 7.Again three game 21 bouts will be on day 8,on day 9 again only one and on day 10 and 11 once more none.
