Disclaimer/introduction for new players

The Wall:

If a sumotori gets his first makekoshi (MK = losing record) in that respective division, it's called "hitting the wall" (KK = winning record, means missing the wall, which is a good thing). This basho we have Ichiyamamoto and the Ura-special in Makuuchi, boy wonder Hokuseiho and Asashiyu in Juryo. Hokuseiho is invected with corona, his participation is unclear. If he has to go kyujo, votes for him will not be counted.

Promotion/demotion/kadoban/intai:

The age-old question, if Shodai manages a KK. Takakeisho is kadoban for the 4th time in his Ozeki career, du to injury. Is he fit again to persevere, or will he plummet to Sekiwake a 2nd time?

Guess the colour of the giant macaron:

One of the prizes for the yusho winner is a giant fake macaron (as placeholder for a load of real, normal sized macarons from one of the best Pâtisseries in Paris). The colour varies and it has become a popular game to guess it.

I'm not sure why Ura is included, since he was M-13 in the last basho, but I'm guessing that Benihana is trying to be as mysterious and enigmatic as the kyokai.

My 'guesses' are in and that is a good term for my selections. I am hopeful that Hokuseiho will be able to appear on day 1.

Forced COVID Kyujo would count as missing the wall still, right? Just as it wasn't supposed to affect his winning streak.

Hokuseiho is out, this basho will not count.

Missed the vote this time, which is good because Aki is wacky and nothing I thought would happen will happen. Hakuho will not win, Hoshoryu will not win a prize, Takayasu will still underperform but not like this, Hokuseiho will not get schooled in juryo (this time), and the less said about the ozeki, the better. At least they might yet turn their basho around. At this rate, the macaron will be plaid.
