I'm a politician (only on a regional level) and I love weight-lifting and partying with friends :)
And I love watching many different sports

I've returned to paddling after a long hiatus. Luckily, we have a nice river in Prague (click) , so I could/can exercise my upper body even in lockdowns. It's a good complementary activity to walking or cycling and there's huge social distance on water, too.

I'm still writing songs ,no one will hear because I dont have Kintamayama's obvious musical talent...

My band "The Grimsby reapers" split though due to musical differences;-)

Local boy Bernie Taupin is currently without a band, but he's living in Southern California now, so he may not want to commute to Grimsby unless you're getting paying gigs.

We seem to have a good ear for music in this area...

The man wrote Michael Jacksons hit "Thriller" was born in Cleethorpes where I live.

Unfortuately I dont have a musical ear,I'm tone deaf, and the others in my band are not much better...

I do like writing songs though.

FFS they blew it!

Just watched my country (Indonesia) played Malaysia on Sudirman Cup (mixed team championsip). Played until the last match and last game of the day, our mixed double players lose. (It’s almost 2AM here)

Losing momentum after won big on 2nd game, blew away, gain again, then lose.

IMO, Indonesian badminton is like being England in football, progressing in group stage then lose on QF/SF. Big support, big expectation, huge disappointment.

Spoiler

Maybe the same as being a Manchester United fan, like I do

fxxx my life

Speaking of off-time activities, I still haven't given up my childhood dream quite yet, which is becoming a professional pool player. I was probably on track to achieve that by 2024ish until Covid set me about a year back- currently fighting to get back in form. I won a nice little 8-ball tournament today in Athens, suitably happy with myself.

If I can turn pro for a year or two in future at some point and then go back to pursuing a "normal career", I'll be thrilled.

What a coincidence,I am watching only fools and horses for the 1st time...

Previously I have only seen clips from it...

The Chandelier  episode was one of the funniest ever...

Another funny one was Del and Boycie playing poker where Del outcheats Boycie.

Del had a double headed coin which Del offered Boycie a chance to win some of his money back

Having already lost twice after Boycie called heads before he(Del)could open his mouth,Del suggests to reluctant Boycie that Rodney calls it this time,Del tosses the coin and all eyes on Rodney as  he calls,

 "TAILS" (Whateverabove,itisfunny...)

Predictable but still very funny

I was asking my friend and former bandmate if he would turn my song "Grace amazing " back online but he told me it didn't exist anymore

He turned it off after the group split...

He said he wasn´t happy with it( He played the organ and sang on it) but personally I think he did it to spite me because he blames me for the band splitting up.

I still have the original recording on tape though and better than that it is not my friend  singing  or playing an instrument on it.

And Even better  it doesnt have  the middle eight in he wrote.

Imagine if this routine had a one-liner that went over like a lead balloon on stage, but when discovered later made this video go so viral that even isolated tribe dwellers in Mato Grosso pondered the questions of space and time that it evokes.

The line: "So, why aren't you guys wearing your masks?"
