Bowl final line-ups:

Nantonoyama:  1. Italy (4), 2. Italy (3), 3. Italy (5), 4. Italy (2), 5. England (S1) (4), 6. England (S1) (5), 7. England (S1) (3), 8. England (S1) (2), 9. England (S1) (1), 10.Italy ® (1)
Comment: FORZA ITALIA!!! The R powers are definitely too much of a gamble (although this round is already quite a gamble with those time slots), but I trust my beloved Italy to win this one, so that we can party all night
vs.
Pitinosato:  1. Italy (S1) (3), 2. Italy (S1) (4), 3. England (5), 4. Italy (S1) (2), 5. Italy (S1) (1), 6. England (1), 7. England (2), 8. Italy (S1) (5), 9. England (4), 10.England (3)
Comment: Who will get the salad ???
With this Modus I tend to think that it is more of a disadvantage do have still an R-Team !?!

Nantonoyama 0:0 Pitinosato
(Italy) (Netherlands)

Italy (3) : Italy (S1) (4)
Italy (5) : England (5)
Italy (2) Ø:Ø Italy (S1) (2)

England (S1) (3) : England (2)
England (S1) (2) : Italy (S1) (5)
England (S1) (1) : England (4)
Italy ® (1) : England (3)

Refyoji comment: Slot 3 *might* be crucial since many people are expecting extra time in Wembley.

They did this already vs. Germany and Denmark. An absolute no go. Seems the once good education in UK has gone long ago. One more reason now to root for Italy.

While Sterling is an excellent scorer, he should really stop idolizing Neymar.

England's loss in segment 3 broke Nantonoyama's chain, cancelling his possible goal from segment 1.

I think my only chance now is Italy winning ET. Any other combination will see me lose, if I am not mistaken

You could still win in extra time, starting after your chain was broken.

It's 1:1 after 90 minutes, both here and in Wembley. Pitinisato needs England to win in real extra-time, otherwise Nantonoyama will take the Bowl in fantasy extra-time at the latest.

The anticipated crucial extra-time in Wembley didn't produce any goals, leaving us with a 1:1 draw in regular game time. Extra-time starts in slot 8 (after Natonoyama's chain was broken), and ironically it's England's first goal which brings the Bowl to Italian Nantonoyama. Congratulations to both for an exciting match!

Now to watch if football is really coming home...

Bench Euros 2020 Cup Finals
Refioji: Athenayama
Fujiko (Denmark) vs Godango (Hungary)

Extra time report :
What an ending ! I hope I'm right with this. The draw in ET breaks Fujiko's chain at S3 while we have a tie 1-1. Hence extra time starts at S4. Godango scores at S5  for the 1-2 but Fujiko scores at S6 for a final 2-2 !

    Fujiko       Godango         2       2

Therefore, as with the real Euro final, we have to go to the penalty shoot out !

Please someone correct me if I'm wrong before Jejima kills me....

3 English Jokers for the penalty shootout missed... Southgate and penalty shootout simply does not fit.

I must admit in his early years I disliked Chiellini a lot but the older he gets the more I like him. In the end the best team of the tournament has won. Congrats to Bella Italia. And Stuttgart's Italian residents are fireworking outside....

Congratulations to Italy - my heart goes out to the England keeper Pickford who was standing on his head all night long. The Italy goal to make it 1-1 was most definitely not his fault, and he saved two penalties.
His team let him down.

I am very happy of this, but why can't my opponent score in slot 1? His chain is not broken in extra time... Can I call a mono-ii on this? Or am I mistaken?

Penalty stats:

If it does: England have lost 6 out of 8 times when matches were decided on penalties during big tournaments. Italy have lost 6 out of 9 times, so neither have been very lucky in that department...

So I forgot to add Italy's winning penalty shootout v Spain in this tournament to these statistics...

When that result is added Italy "only" lost 6 of of 10 previous penalty shootouts, giving them a 40% success rate (now after the final 45.45%) , while England had a 25% success rate (now 22.22%).

In retrospect It does seem to have been statistically significant...

I may be English, but I'm not heartbroken. I've seen wins in sports that I care more about (e.g. Cricket) and at least I don't have to worry about a win being hijacked for political nonsense.

Booing is bad form, but the fans have been booing the English players as well during the anthems.

And, if we're being honest, aside from Belgium, Italy was the only decent team in the competition.
