Yes, that is good. I’ve watched it a few times. There is or was another documentary series from Japanese TV available on YT that focused more on kimarite and famous bouts. Can’t remember what it was called.
Morning 73 Posted February 11, 2021 I find their app format particularly uninteresting. It lacks all the by-play of the fights and commentary and spoils the results before watching and it takes longer to get to a video than to watch it. The suggested complete tournament footage in high def is more up to my interests. But I'd only pay for it if was on a platform I like (youtube is not it) and additionally came with live coverage of current tournaments and did not cost 60€ per month (NHK currently). In the off months instead of the English coverage for current tournaments they could pull up an historical one and do English commentary for that. While putting it into historical context and slowly building up the English commentary available and giving us monthly tournaments. Depending upon technology used, they could even provide the single fight option by using a video format that allows jumping to a specific timestamp within a video file, which would reduce the number of files needing to be maintained. So you could have the complete tournament if you want, or skip to the rtmi fight or even the option to playlist your favorite wrestler's fights not only for one tournament but across his whole career.
