The whole video is an idle speed, no budget version of Mad Max and you can see from their faces, they know how abysmal ridiculous they look like. The next time they're in Germany, i'll try to visit one of their shows. Here's a reaction video by a vocal coach:
Benihana 1,647 Posted April 21, 2021 Yeah, Charismatic Voice is my favourite reactor. She knows, what she's talking about, she cosplays, plays D&D and is such a lovely person in general. Actually i rewatched her reaction on a Blind Guardian video just a few hours ago.

My listening habits come from a 16Gb USB drive containing about 100 CD's of 50/60's pop, classical country and some big band era stuff that I carry in my car. About 4 days of randomly playing joy. I have no idea what a reactor might be.

It's fun to see, how someone who never listened to a specific genre, lets say a gangsta from the hood, is flabbergasted by the epicness of symphonic metal and asks himself, why he never listened to such fantastic music. Some, like Charismatic Voice (opera singer) are professionals and analyze vocal or instrumental techniques. And it's a great way to find new, exciting music for yourself. Well, new music may be old music, you never know it existed, because you didn't have access to it. Much to learn, you have, old padawan

I went through all the reactions to the Righteous Brothers ("I thought those dudes was black!") and the Bee Gees (likewise, surprisingly -- wait until they find out they're Aussies!) and am currently hooked on Home Free, the a capella group that started out country and has expanded. Here are a couple of their best efforts (yes, all instrumental sounds are provided by the mouths of the beat boxer or other members)
Athenayama 273 Posted September 9, 2021 (edited) I just saw a documentary about Satoshi Kon. I had never heard of him (don't kill me anime fans!) as I'm not really into anime movies. Apart from the genius he seemed to be, there was a nice song from the soundtrack of his last movie "Paprika". The version played in the documentary was with some classic voices (Ensemble corde et anima) and I loved it but I couldn't find it anywhere upto now. That said I found on YT the movie version which is good too, so here it is. To those interested, the documentary is called "Satoshi Kon, the Illusionist" and it's a French documentary but with many Japanese collaborators (subtitled). Bugman 357 Posted September 11, 2021 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDrZQiS1dnk A remix of a game-track from a computer game, it's not the full song unfortunately, but an abridged version (if that term can be applied to a song)

Athenayama 273 Posted February 12 (edited) Will this become the next anthem of the "North Pole Ichimon"? Edited February 12 by Athenayama
Getayukata 108 Posted February 14 This is a favourite song of mine, and another possibility for an anthem for the North Pole Ichimon.
Yamanashi 2,468 Posted February 14 Or Johnny Horton's North to Alaska, which is along the way. My choice would be Whispers of the North, just because Gordon Lightfoot is the Hakuho of folk music.

I have loved certain songs for years and years, and cherish revisiting them again and again. I'm a little pop-oriented, though many on this Forum seem a bit more metal-influenced. Some of these songs go back before my time; there aren't many newer than ten years old, because I haven't decided if they're timeless yet! I invite all of you to let us know what songs have stayed with you for a long time. I'll start out with a few in alphabetical order.
