Yamanashi 2,462 Posted January 27, 2021 (edited) This topic is for your favorite songs, for whatever reason. I have loved certain songs for years and years, and cherish revisiting them again and again. I'm a little pop-oriented, though many on this Forum seem a bit more metal-influenced. Some of these songs go back before my time; there aren't many newer than ten years old, because I haven't decided if they're timeless yet! I invite all of you to let us know what songs have stayed with you for a long time. I'll start out with a few in alphabetical order. Athenayama 273 Posted January 27, 2021 What a difficult (yet interesting) topic ! How to choose when you've listened to music all your life thus so many pieces of music? Sometimes it's just a solo, sometimes a catchy chorus. Anyway this needs much thinking and big cruel in order not to fill an entire page with songs. "I'll be back"...

How about some Stan Rogers: Or my favourite tenor, Fritz Wunderlich: And Akinomaki - I love Mozart, and especially Sarastro's aria, but I think I prefer it sung by a basso profondo, as in this version of In diesen heiligen hallen:

Athenayama 273 Posted January 28, 2021 @Getayukata Stan Rogers, very nice acapella song. @Akinomaki Ein Deutsches Requiem by Brahms is definitely one of the pieces of music I like when it comes to classic music. @Yamanashi I definitely like all your choices in your triple "D" selection (Dave, Dazzle, Doobie) @Kotoroiwa Nice selection of songs ! Benihana 1,641 Posted January 29, 2021 Favourites are subject to change. And there are so many, many great songs out there, it's impossible for me to say "this is the one". The last months i've been listening to Unleash the Archers a lot and the first thing to do in the office is to put on my BT headset and BLAST one of these songs. They're fun, they make me smile and they give me more energy than any coffee in the world. https://youtu.be/2yctXV3uHBs https://youtu.be/gqUPGa15Oto
