(Bow...)

How many takes did it take? No, please, don't tell, because you'd either be lying or I'd be even more awestruck.

By no demand whatsoever, the video!!

Well, now I know where your alias came from. That took a great mountain of Jingle Balls. Kudos, dude-sama!

Exactly three. You can see me peeking at the monitor for the lyrics. Wakatakakage screwed me the first time and Endou the second..

Which leaves me even more than more awestruck, because I suck badly at karaoke. Reading and singing simultaneously is rocket science to me, but then again, the only instrument I can play without accidents is the radio...

I listened to the first and watched the second and I suspect we are fans of the same software.

Not this time. YouTube has a plethora of free playbacks. I just searched for "Jingle Bells jazz playback" , downloaded the audio, hit play, and sang live into my phone camera, with the playback in the background.. Took me a few minutes to adjust the balance of volume between the two and that was it.

Since it actually is my profession for 50 years and all I know how to do in life, that was the easy part..

Returning to the original topic which prompted this new gem, there's one vital question about the lyrics on your screen: Kanji or Romaji?

Romaji. I can't write Kanji, I can only read. Strange but true. I mean I can write the easy ones but shikona? No way.

The first one sounded like an early version of BIAB where everything was MIDI and the latest one sounded like a more recent version where it is mostly audio tracks stitched together to make the accompanying track.  Anyhow, very well done!

That's exactly what it was.
