Now comes the Kekka format, which will be used for making the 2020 Kyushu Banzuke.

Here are the Kekka points (calculated by using the simple equation "Points*7.5 / Median").  Extra points were used to the top 3 (three) Gamers (50 points for Y , 30 points for J-Y, and 20 points for 3rd place (podium)) for Banzuke purposes (better differentiation).

Jakusotsu for Yokozuna !!! (Zabutonflying...)(Applauding...)

I would agree with you except for a small thing called the rules.  As stated below, here is what you have to have to become a Yokozuna:

Promotion to Yokozuna

  • Ozeki rank on the recent two tournaments
  • kachi-koshi result on the recent four tournaments
  • at least two Yusho or Jun-Yusho (by kekka, not points) on the recent four tournaments, and of those at least one Yusho or Jun-Yusho as an Ozeki
  • at least 34 kekka points on the recent three basho

Unfortunately, Jakusotsu had a horrendous 3-12 record 2 bashos back.  He kept his Ozeki rank, but now starts from here to get two more KKs, which should be his only barrier.

Gambatte Jakusotsu!!

Yoohoo (who the only thing he has in common with a Yokozuna is the 'Yo'!)

Yoohoo is right.

Thanks Yoohoo-zeki for explaining the case.

If this hadn't happen Jakusotsu would have needed just 8 kekka points during Kyushu. (Weeping...)

Somehow I feel that if there was a special prize for most un-improvement, I would be in line for it this coming basho!  :)  Thank you Achiyama for a fun game to play.
