Yet also wrong. As on the revised slate (due to Abi's withdrawal), Hokutofuji will be facing Takakeisho.

I don't think this situation is covered in the rules. I don't think we have a precedent either.

Anybody care to give their opinions before I make a rijicho ruling about how we should deal with this?

Wasn't this situation covered by a ruling a while ago--we went with the first-published banzuke on some prior occasion when a post-publication change happened.  I think it even resulted in the same opponent being the correct pick multiple times.

(Even if my memory is leaving me, I think that's the right call.)

That vaguely sounds familiar. :-)

6. If the kyokai changes the originally posted torikumi for any day (such as for a late kyujo), the first version released will be used for the purpose of this game.

^ In the rules due to that prior occasion.

I should read the rules that I wrote. (Blowingupfuriously...)

i'm not protesting, just curious.

Because I could not see the bouts and not knew what happened, I only wondered about your discussion.
I only thought: "They don't want, that I get the point."
But now I see, that I can say: I had a big pig (an old German idiom)

Now I should do the next curios pick (once more pig?):
