You coming out of retirement then? I'm sure I'm not the only one who'd love to see it.

I'm not sure if this is a one-off thing, but the Kyokai have a live channel showing some Oyakatas sitting around watching the bouts on TV and commentating. All you see are the Oyakata. Ex-Yoshikaze, ex-Goueidou and others just talking about sumo and what they are watching. Weird. Two hours of this.

You are an absolute star, Moti. Thank you very much.

That said, you may be relieved to discover that your successor isn't quite down and out yet...

I need someone do design an app, or program, that will let me fly zabuton across my screen, and a sumo soundboard with some of the more common sounds at the basho with some maita's added in

I think it's been mentioned elsewhere, but NHK is missing a trick here. They could have surrounded the dohyo with greenscreen and put absolutely anything there, not merely a fake audience. Imagine the dohyo in a peaceful countryside setting, maybe by a lake. That might suit the hushed tone of this unique honbasho.

Or they could place a whole bunch of TV viewable kensho banners around the dohyo and recoup some of their losses from advertising fees.  (Signofapproval...)

Nice comment on Kiribiyama.  My question: is the reference to Psalm 46:2, or Led Zeppelin; or Ben E. King?
