Welcome to our new player nelimw. There are some interesting "X" picks this time.  Flohru is our most agreeable player, and Chishafuwaku is, as usual, very disagreeable.

Let's get this thing going!

The Basho has started with to bouts.
Only two players have both correct picked.

It's logical, that both leaders have the same TB1.
So must decide as first the TB2 for the earlier pick of Screeching Owl.
But at the end this will no more be.

Two more bouts today:

Now has only Inhashi all bouts right – and of course now leads alone.

Three people fight with 0 points for the red lamp.

I am one of them.

Now we have seven bouts and no more players who have all bouts correct.

As yesterday leads Inhashi, but now only per tiebreaker 1 before Athenayama.

But if you want to have some fun: have a look at the last three places of the ranking!

Now after five days we have 12 bouts.

From both yesterday’s leaders has only the Screeching Owl both bouts correct and leads now alone with 9 points before Chishafuwaku and Wamahada, both with 8. Tomorrow we’ll have the first interrupt without an 21 bout.

For 4 days we had no game 21 fight, only one today.

Leader Screeching Owl had him wrong,

so Wamahada could catch up with him.

But the Owl has the clear better TB.

Tomorrow we get three (thank you, Jim!) more bouts.

Excuse me if I tomorrow will post a bit later!

The decision has been made.

There was no game 21 bout on day 14 and the torikumi for Sensuraku also does not include any fight from our list.

Bout 7 is set as correctly for all players because Kotoyuki did not have a fight in any Torikumi of the tournament.

The bouts 1 and 8 have the result X.

Nobody picked bout 8 as X, two players picked bout 1 X.

These two picks decided the final result.

The X pickers of bout 1 were two of the leading trio: Athenayama and Mikasazuma.

But we see: The long leading Screeching Owl had no X and fell back from the top.

So we must look at the tiebreaker values of the both.

Here is the ranking:

Let me complete the Final post!

We have to congratulate the winner

(Yushowinner...) Athenayama (Yushowinner...)

Congratulations  too to Mmikasazuma for his Jun Yusho.

Many thanks to all players for participation

Especially thanks to Asojima that we have him back.

Jim, your result shows that all restart is difficult.

I know, the time will come that you stay all time in the upper part of the table.

Let's begin with this in march with a new game 21.

You all are invited.

Warning! The next basho is the annual Har Har basho.  I am still playing with several ideas on how to select the matches.

Thanks Profo-zeki and Asojima- zeki for managing this nice game (21 was my first sumo game I started playing) which I have been playing for 10 years.

By the way the Jun-Yusho is Her. Mmikasazuma is one of the best Ladies Sumo Gamers.

Congrats to her, and of course Congrats to the Yusho winner Athenayama - one of the rising new blood Gamers.

And finally I am a little bit sad for the loss of my buddy Douglas (ScreechingOwl) who lost the Yusho on Senshuraku because of an X bout. But these are the rules.

And, of course, what I usually say "there is always next basho!".

Considering I don't do well in this game it's fitting I put up a good score here this basho.

Congrats to @Athenayama on the yusho! (Yushowinner...)  and thanks for the game! (Clappingwildly...)
